I'm Home!!
Hi everyone,
I had my surgery yesterday. The doc told DH and DD that it would take about 2 hrs. The paged them in 50 minutes (scared them to death)! He said that everything went perfectly and I didn't even have to stay overnight in the hospital. I was at my aunts in Wilmington by 3:00 pm. I got home to Whiteville this morning. I had started my pre op diet 4 weeks out instead of 2 weeks. So far I am sipping clear liquids and have not gotten sick at all. Thank the good Lord. and Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support.
I am a bit tired and sore but I feel good.
Vera

Wow Vera, what a gal! Glad the surgery went off in record time and you are already home and doing good.
Be good to yourself now....take it easy, but try to walk as much as possible, and keep sipping, sipping, sipping.
The walking helps move the "gas" out!
Keep us informed as you recover.....we're all here for you
and cheering you on.....welcome to the loser's bench.
