what's new WEDNESDAY?

Hi Annette and everyone:

Sorry your daughter is having problems. I never seem to react to anything, I guess I'm lucky that way. My body is just allergic to the world, that's all, not to drugs. Isn't that strange, because drugs are made from things in the world. I hope she's OK.

Got done early last night, but tonight will be a late one because we have a concert, but it's outdoors so maybe it will rain. I feel the rain coming on ... woke up with a headache this morning, still have it, even after sticking my head under the shower. I'll try an Imitrex and see if that works. I'd go to the chiropractor but I don't think I'll have time before work today, because I need to stop and get some AchievOnes before heading into work (double points on their reward program on Wednesday ... and I have a $10 off certificate at the health store too ... woohoo!)

Stayed up late to watch Olympics and other things on TV last night ... had to fast so I could get blood drawn for a Vit D test. After my yearly bariatric check, they found I was Vit D deficient (I guess they're testing everyone for that, and finding everyone is Vit D deficient). So I've been taking that and had to be retested. I had to be off my vitamins for 24 hours and fasting for 12; didn't eat after 11 p.m. and got up today at 11 a.m., so that'll do it. So I had my blood drawn at the lab and came home, made a cup of coffee in my Keurig coffeemaker and checked online to see what was happening with my buddies.

Well, I'm getting hungry. I should eat something. Have a good day. Tomorrow, I plan to get this mop cut! It is so long. Even my mother complained about my hair ... "What's wrong with your hair?" ... well, mom, it's long, I haven't been able to afford to get it cut.

Eileen: I shocked that Carla Sissorhands didn't give you a hair cut when they were at your condo!!!!! Ha Ha

She cut everyone else's hair! She's such a sweetie.

Yes, she offered ... but it was too early in the morning and I was half asleep ... wasn't ready for anyone to touch me. She got here too late to do it on Sunday and then left so quickly ... it was like a drive-by. Otherwise, I would have let her, I was so in need. I don't think my hair has been this long since nearly high school (not quite ... it was down to my shoulders in high school ... it's not quite there yet).

Good Morning Annette and all!  Bright cool morning here in NW Ohio.  I was up at 6am to let the dogs out, went back to bed for about 20 minutes and decided to get up and get an early start to the day.  Did some dishes, a load of laundry going and put a few things away.  My son is coming back today to work on plumbing detail.  I got the bathroom painted (1st coat) last night using only 1/2 gal of the 2 gal I bought.  HMMMM Me thinks I will have lots left!  LOL!  May have to find someplace for it.....Matt's house?? It looks nice right now, but I think will look much better when tiled and completed!  I will try to get joints taped and mudded on the backer board before Matt gets here too. 
Well it's official.  I am gaining again and REALLY have to up my activity and lower my consumption.  Last week I noticed my thighs rubbed together again and it's been several years since that happened.  HMMM.  Old habits seem to be creeping back in.  OUT OUT OUT Damned Spot!  My lowest was 155 and was told I looked too gaunt at that weight.  I came up 15lbs and look fine, feel good.  well another 4 have crept on and now, I want to get back to about 160 and stay there.  I think I felt better at that weight.  So a new goal is in mind, now to just WORK at it~that's the hard part.  Brain surgery I didn't have. 
That's my story for the day!  Hope you all have a great hump day!  I'm off to the bathroom wars....

I feel your pain.  I popped scale this morning at 160.  I wanted to be 149.... never got past 152..... and stayed forever at 154....

I can eat way too much.

Annette hope your dtr doesn't have any more complicatons from her complication and makes a complete recovery. Man! that is scary.

I had a bit of an eventful day yesterday, not hugely but enough to shake up the monotony.

First, I go a return call from my old high scool sweetheart and Tom and I will be stopping by to see him and his family on our little vacation for a BBQ. Should be fun. His parents and mine were good friends and have stayed in touch and visited each other. He and I used to talk once a year but fell out of touch. His wife and I are good friends too...they haven't met my husband so it should be a very nice evening.

Next, I found the ex that ran off with someone on the internet and that was fun. Looks like he is engaged again. I'm guessing she will  probably be the 6th or 7th now. He has kept himself very hidden, over the past 11 years as he has a warrent out for his arrest here, and owes me a ton of money. I prob won't try to get the money but who knows.... Yes, you all, that was a time in my life when I thought Jerry Springer was going to call and ask me to be on his show! Only time in my whole life when I lost 25 lbs without trying. It was devastating at the time but now was the best thing that ever happened to me and I laugh, really laugh at it now. 
My husband wants me to write a book.

My Betherina/Bethalope (Beth) is coming home this Sunday and will be here for over a month. I am very happy to get to have her home but I bet by the time school starts she will be very happy to leave...

One more week till my vacation starts!!! Whoo hoo!

Hi Annette and Everyone,

Annette- I'm sure sorry to hear hear about your daughter and her medical situation.  I hope it resolves itself in short order.  It's especially hard when they are out of state.  My daughter lives out of state and there are times when it would be so much better to be closer.

Nothing new for me today.  Work and Olympics.  Our cable tv went out last night so it was a race to get in contact and, fortunately, they were able to reset without a service call.  Phew..... thought I was going to be spending the night at Motel 6 just for the television set!

I have sort of been in a funk for the last few months because no matter what , it seemed like the scales wouldnt move down from 165 ...to make long story short , after evaluation i found out i wasnt getting in enough calories, was doing well with protein drinks and water but not enough cal. so have been trying to eat more. that is hard to do when you have been use to not eating.
but i do have it up to about 1200 cal. a day now along with the protein drinks. and i started walking again. am walking 1.5 miles in 30 min each and every morning and this morning got on the scale after 2 weeks of all of this and Yipppeee163 and i put on a pair of new size 10 shorts this morning right out of the dryer and they are loose on me so is time to get out tape measure and see what is happening.
im really happy about all of this ...guess you cant tell huh???

Good Morning Everyone,

It has been such a long time since I  have posted. It seems my mornings have been so busy and when I get home at night and read the post it seems to late to put my two cents in.   I have to be in San Francisco  by 9am this morning. Having all my pre-op appointments. I am having a tummy tuck on the 26th. I am so tired of having this skin hanging and the rashes from the heat. Total price is $8600.00 Does that seem like a normal price. I will be going to the OH conference on the 23-24. I will see what some of the plastic surgeons charge that will be speaking on those days. Free consultation, might asked them how much a face lift will cost me. Sons say they will pay for that for my christmas present. Hope everyone has a great day.
