What's New, Tuesday?
I'm still up, so I thought I'd start the post for the day.
I hope that each of you has a good Tuesday! My week has been challenging.
My dear sister Barbara is back in the hospital.
She has an inoperable abdominal cancer, and that is now affecting her liver, pancreas and gall bladder. She also has THREE different bacteria in her bloodstream and is on some rather brutal antibiotics. She hasn't been able to eat anything since February or March of this year. We have had her home (at my Mom's house) since April and hope to get her back there as soon as they get her antibiotic regimen stable enough so that I can give them to her at home, along with her IV nutrition. She wants to continue her chemotherapy and fight this cancer as long as she can. She is so strong and so brave.
Her husband is disabled and in a wheelchair. Bobbi was his sole caregiver - so we have also moved him to Mom's house. This has sure helped me to focus on what is really important in life!
Things are kind of tough right now. I'd appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers for some comfort for my wonderful, very ill sister. Thank you.

My prayers and good wishes are with you and your family today. I'm truly impressed with the fight and will to live your sister, Barbara, is showing us. It does put so many things in perspective. Thank you for sharing your family's story with us.

Thanks to everyone for the great wishes on my "downsize" success. I really appreciate the support! It's really interesting to me that I'm changing sizes without the scale making dramatic changes. It's confusing to me as I am in completely new territory. I have a best friend *****ally motivated me to get out in the stores and try new sizes. I didn't notice or feel the difference until I got into the store and tried smaller sizes. It's definitely a "measure of success" for me.
Anyway, nothing much else new to share. Have a great day whatever you do.

( ( ( ( ( HUGGS ) ) ) ) ) I'm so sorry to hear about your sister and brother in law. I am glad to hear you are able to help take care of them. You are to be commended and loved all the more for doing this. No easy task. We do seem to forget what is important in life.... Our hearts go out to you and your family. Tom put some pictures on my profile while I was out. He's handy with the computer. I just swear at it.
I'm having problems with dizziness. If I look up, the room spins and I tip over. That makes it hard to reach for things in an upper cupboard. If I tilt up for a kiss from Tom I have to hold on for dear life or would end up on the floor. Now that's quite a kiss!! Same thing happens if I bend over or lay down. A wave of nausea hits at the same time. Feels yucky but passes within a minute or two.
I'm thinking there may be a problem in my neck?
If it doesn't go away in a day or so, I'll call the doctor.

Thanks Connie. Red is my favorite color. Tom sent me a dozen RED long stemmed red roses, my favorite flower. Our Jimmy and Annie thought they were super yummy appetisers. Darned furbrats!
