The Over 50 Board - I forgot!

Hi all, I am not new to this board - been a long time since I posted here! I'm Dimple Donna, 52 years old, pretty much a poster on the Black American Forum - but I do take "look-sees" in other areas of OH.  I'm recently separated, mother to two grown sons, ages 31 and 28, and grandma of 6. It is refreshing to see others of us who have had surgery and are "living life like it's golden..." I look forward to posting here more often. Be blessed! Donna

Hi Marti - I do understand - I have 4 girls (two 7 year olds, an almost-5 year old, and a 2-year old) and two boys (a 2 year old and an 8 month old)...and they are my gifts of joy, for sure! Much love, Donna

BTW...I was very sad to see Bernie Mac had died at such a young age...50 years old...WOW......he was a very gifted comedian and came up the hard way. Hugs, Marti

Yes, his death dealt a huge blow to the community here in Chicago, as well as across the nation.  I thought abuot the children from the show - hope they are doing o.k. Hugs to you too! DD

Donna, it is so good to see you here. I peep in at the other boards too.
OFF is my family though. I just need these ladies so much as the over 50 experience is unique. People who are not where we are can still share so much as we have so mu*****ommon by sharing this journey.
When I need soothing,and laughs, this is the place for me.

Hey Donna!  I post on the BAF and R&R board too.  I just recently found this board.  I haven't been banded yet, but hope to soon!  P.S.  I have dimples too! I just hope I don't lose them when my face starts getting thinner!  LOL

Oh Shoot...Dimples..wish mine were on my face....looking backwards in the mirror...yup they are still there..........just as big as the dimples on that young thing Mario  Lopez
