I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning Margo & My OFF Family,
I haven't been online too much the last couple of days, just stopping in to visit a few moments as I've got things to do around here, I've been up since about 4, just could not really sleep, not sure why, but I finally got up at 6 and decided it was time to do what chores I needed to do, as today Tony is coming down after work, which on this day should be early, and we will be going to dinner and a movie and then heading to Lambertville tomorrow a.m. to hang out and stay at a B&B, a nice couple of days for sure, but I have to vacuum, do my laundry and a few other things before heading out to my first Salsa dance lesson, I'm so excited about finally taking this class as the last set of classes were held on a night I could not get there during the work week. I'm taking this class for the fun of it, but also as a different form of exercise, hoping that the stall I've been in for almost a month now breaks by me changing up my routine some.
Anyway, I wish you all a good day, it certainly will be a beautiful one in the Southwestern part of New Jersey!
If you are struggling with any of life's curve balls, rest assured you are all in my prayers and positive thoughts on a daily basis,
Hugs, Laureen

Good Morning Margo....I sure worry about you doing that plasma thing....I hope it doesn't turn out like Eileen's did. Be careful honey.
I panicked when I woke up this morning...I looked at the clock and thought it said 8:56am..and I am supposed to be showing houses at 9:00 am.....but thankfully it said 6:56 when I got my eyes all the way open.
Did my little morning chores, bed, dishwasher, sinks, toilets and while I am printing out my houses to show...I thought I would check in with you guys.
Yesterday, I stayed with my sweet neighbor [former] that has had blinding headaches lately and had to have an MRI. Her Mother is in a nursing home and she didn't want to tell her about it. So she uses me as a second Mother.....and I went with her.
While she was having the MRI, since I don't sit well on my tailbone for an hour, I went to a nice wine and cheese shop, sampled cheese and wine and bought a bottle of nice red and some good cheese and crackers [I had them open the bottle of wine] and when she was done, I was waiting and suggested we go see her Mother with the wine and cheese.
Her Mother loves a little wine and cheese party, or sometimes I take Margaritas and Salso and chips.....she is so sweet, but she has tremors so bad that she can barely hold the wine glass [I leave wine glasses there] I don't fill it so full for her. She was a fancy lady and is still a lovely lady, but she can no longer walk.
Well, my printing is done, so I best get moving here and go play "Ruthie Realtor". Have a great day. Hugs, Marti

Morning all....
Just finished cleaning the house.....taking a sit down for a few minutes before I go jump into the shower.
Yesterday I was able to take my water pill again and seemed to get rid of a lot of water, however, when I got on the scale this morning I had only lost 1/4 lb. Good grief, usually it's 2 or 3 lbs. So today I am doing protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and have a small meal for supper. Last nite I tried some Italian turkey sausages with thin sliced vidalia onion....steamed them in the skillet with just a bit of water. Had one for my supper and it was really good -- skin was a bit tough so I didn't eat it. Also had 1/4 of a fresh wonderful tomato and some cucumbers.
Today is the last day for the cipro for the UTI and then back to regular schedule for taking meds and supplements.
Going over to Middlebury after lunch to meet up with Floyd and Brenda R. Brenda called me yesterday afternoon and we had a nice long chat....I told her we'd better hang up and save some for today!! LOL, I don't think we'll run out of things to talk about, do you??
It's cool this morning but they're calling for possible showers later this afternoon with highs in the 70's....nice!!
Tomorrow my sister, traveling buddy bro' Steve, and I are going to the Troyer reunion.....that was my maiden name.
There aren't too many of the elders left, I just have one uncle and one aunt on my Dad's side. It's always good to keep in touch with family, too bad more of the younger generation doesn't see fit to come to the reunions....one day they will wish they had. Going to take deviled eggs for my food contribution....there's always tons of food, so
I'll have to be careful not to eat too much.
Better take this sweaty body off to the shower now. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend.

Done! Your Ticker:
Hi Margo, Roxie, and Everyone!
Slept late this morning which felt nice. Busy week. this weekend will be the usual errands and cleaning. Nothing much new to share around here either. Going to take some flower to my parents' graveside today as it would have been their 65 wedding anniversary. I'm the only sibling living in the area so I am the designee.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend doing whatever you want or need to do.
Hugs,
Kathi

It's all the way up to 64 degrees here. Much too brr cold for August.
Not much happening but a nap in a few minutes. I was up early to watch the grands. Mary participated in a Hospice fund raiser in the wee hours of the morning. There were 267 entrants to swim across Cayuga Lake. Although she wore a wet suit she came home very cold. I stayed so she could go warm up in the shower.
Last night Matthew, Melani and I agitated a bees nest which was in their swing set area. I saw the bees swarming in a cloud, yelled " Melanie BEES RUN!", scooped up Matthew and ran for the house.
We were inside for a while when Matthew began to cry and rub his eye. Thinking he had bubbles on his hands I took him into the kitchen to wash. A BEE appeared and stung me on the hand. Good grief, Matthew had been stung on his eyebrow.
He has many allergies so I was very nervous. Thank goodness Marry appeared. We looked for signs of breathing difficulties. Other than a red spot he was fine. This morning his eye is a bit red and swollen, my hand is itchy. Could have been a disaster.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Margo and everyone:
Just a quick hello before I get dressed and packed up to go to Chicago for my big weekend. I was up late last night after work watching the Olympics opening ceremony. I love the Olympics ... got home in time to see the lighting of the torch, which was spectacular, then watched part of the opening ceremony on DVR before I had to go to bed, I was so tired.
I had gotten an order from this coffee company ... it was a freebie actually, and they goofed it up so they resent it. After I opened the box, I started noticing all these little bugs around me ... on the recliner, on my body, in the house ... couldn't figure out where they came from, but later, when I disposed of the box and put the coffee packet on the counter, I saw the bugs on the coffee packet ... so the bugs must have been in the box. Still trying to get rid of them. Almost look like little fruit flies but not that big ... sort of like gnats ... I'm still itching. I'm going to complain to the coffee company about that. I don't think they were in the coffee, just in the box and packaging.
As we were working last night, I was reading the story about John Edwards admitting he had an affair. I said to my coworker, Kim: "I don't think I've ever read about a female politician having an affair. It's just the men who can't keep their pants zipped." I mean, Hilary hasn't had an affair ... Nancy Pelosi? Barbara Boxer? The women seem to stay faithful, but the men have a problem with this?
Anyway, I should shower and get moving. I'll see you, Paulette, on Monday, and talk to the rest of you when I get back on Monday.

Remember you have to take into consideration that those women are down right ugly. Barbara Boxer has a personality of a dog like her name......do I like Boxer? hell no, she hasn't done anything for us in CA cept spend money.....as a state employee is she making the $6.55 an hour that Arnie declared for the state employee's? I doubt that....
In order to have an affair in my opinion, you have to have something that is wanted....

Hello Margo and everyone....
Just flying by again!! I just got back into town. I was in Minneapolis for coffee with my favorite OH/ MN Board group!! They are such a great group and I am blesssed to have them in my life.
I went out last night.....too much dancing and wine!! I got home at about 3:00AM and had to get up at 6:00Am to get ready to go to the coffee group. I am now heading to bed and try to nap. Tonight is the Demolision Derby at the Fair then off to go dancing again!!
I am glad to read that everyone is doing okay today. Wish our sweet Linda S. was feeling better. When she doesn't post I know she isn't doing very well.
Prayers to those in need...especially Lind S.
Love and hugs to all.....connie d
