It's Friday.....at Last
hi connie...i am not sure when i will have my pc hooked up again...seems like everytime we get close to looking for a place some thing needs to be paid for the house here...sighs.soon as i can i will let you know i have it hooked up tho!! i miss my emails so much and my games too!!! oh well i am happy that i am with rick and atleast i can use his pc to come to OFF!!!!
yeah this honda is a piece of junk as far as comfort is....i miss my car!!!! not sure how long it will be but they said i should have it back before i have to go to michigan...

Pat R.......did you get those desserts made?? Lucky you joining in on an OH event. Camping is so fun and relaxing. I am sure you will have a wonderful time!
Cheryl....you always talk about scrapbooking. I wish I could do it. I think it could be alot of fun. I am afraid to start because I could see myself really getting addicted to it fast!! I have soooooo many photos...in boxes!!
Today I am just going to relax for most of the day. Tonight I am going dancing. Some really good friends of mine have a country band and they will be playing at a bar a couple miles from my house tonight. I need to get there!! I love to dance!! They are an awesome band too!!
I need to get out there and do some shopping today sometime...I still haven't gotten a dress for the wedding I am attending in Alabama in September. Hope I can find a good bargain somewhere!

Good morning Floyd! Good morning everybody! With the crackdown on internet use at work, I haven't been around much. By the time I get home, have dinner and do what needs to be done, I'm pooped, so not much time for computer at night. I have found that since starting to take my vitamins regularly again (I had become very complacent.), I'm feeling a little more energetic. THANKS DARLENE for the constant reminders!!!
Not much new around here. Our daughter, SIL, and grandson will be visiting next weekend. George found and fixed the leak in one of our upstairs bathrooms - we think - we hope! He wants to go fishing this weekend, but I've got so much to do with the upcoming visitors, that I think I'd better stay home and clean house.
Our departmental princess, after six months maternity leave and some leave without pay has finally given notice that she will not be returning. I've been asked if I would like to apply for her position. It would mean finally getting away from my situation, and a raise in pay. I'm going to apply, but it's a long, slow process being civil service. Keep me in your prayers!
Woke this morning to a severe thunderstorm. It was so tempting to call in sick. There's not much activity around, so I'm guessing several people did just that. Old reliable here made it in at the usual 6:45! We're supposed to have thunderstorms throughout the day. Hope I don't get stuck here this evening.
Better get back to work!

Funny!!! When I was filling out the application, I was trying to figure how to word it so that I could put down what the princess did that I know how to do. I was truly stuck. You see, I don't think it would help me land the position if I put down in writing that I know how to surf the net for recipes, pictures of movie stars' homes, etc., that I know how to push work off on coworkers, and that I really need to brush up on my skills to goof off and take at least two days a week off. I emailed George to ask his opinion. He said to put down the things I know how to do that she was "supposed to do". We both had a good laugh!
