My Wedding Picture...and our Now Picture

hey Vickie....I was 22 and Mike was 24....and that was old to get married in those days....not anymore....my children didn't get married and start producing babies until their 30's ....that is why I am 67 and my oldest grandchild is only 7 years old. Thanks Marti! I have one son (31 years old) and so far he has given me one grandaughter (4 1/2). I love, love, love being Grandma!

Aloha beautiful Marti! OMIGOD......what beautiful pictures! And, I got "chicken skin" (hawaiian for goosebumps!)....Ha.....because I was married in Madison in 1962....and I had flashbacks of those wonderful days. I was 18, my husband was in the Air Force at Truax (I think that's what it was) and we had such a great time exploring Wisconsin...he flying a small plane sometimes so we got a good look at the landscape. He went on to become an airline pilot and we often went back to where we lived on a little farm in Sun Prairie.

I am so happy for you surviving 45 years and loving your husband still. I still love mine, too, although our marriage only lasted 17 years. We are still very good friends and share our sons and grandchildren happily.

Your weekend ahead will be wonderful I'm sure....I can't wait to hear about it. Thanks for the flashbacks and for being a part of this little family....you are SO LOVED!!

Those are great pictures.  My hubby and I have been married 36 years and we are so close and happy.  Our 3 sons are married now but no grandkids yet. We have had a wonderful life together and I am so greatful for my husband.  He has spoiled me rotten.  Thanks for sharing.
