can't sleep/sick

so here I sit at 10:51 pm Sat night. Sicker than a dog, can't sleep, head stuffed up, 81 degrees still, going to be 104 tomorrow and I'm drinking Thera Flue to try and sweat this out of me...I'm tired but just can't sleep when I close my eyes, too many problems going on in my life......

I'm not fully moved yet, the people I hired to finish the job and very slow....they were supose to be done by the end of the month...they still have about 4 loads to go.... I have too much stuff. My patio is full, I"m trying to paint before I put anything in the rooms, livingroom is almost finished, have to get the piano dolly tomorrow and move the piano then I can finish that wall....sigh....

Hope everyone has a great sunday tomorrow...should be interesting...

I hope the TheraFlu does the trick.  The moving will happen and you will be settled in as soon as you are well enough to do all the hard work.

I couldn't sleep either. Not sick just too many thoughts in my head that I can't clear out. Lots of finish details to make on the house. Painting starts tomorrow so we applied sample patches and made those decisions. Pretty conservative I'm afraid. A real nice neutal Kilim Beige for the walls and ceilings in the main living areas, whites for the bathrooms, a soft Ancient Marble for the master suite. (It's a soft sage green) Next comes choosing countertoips and flooring, faucets, mirrors, lighting fixtures, outside paint colors. . . .

I too have way too much stuff. Three storage units right now.  I wonder how much of it will not even get into the new house. There will be plenty of room for it, but some of it needs to find new homes! Much of it probably. When the time comes we'll move our apartment stuff into the new house.

It's amazing how much you get get by without when you have to take it up a flight of stairs. Then we'll have the rest of the stuff stacked in the garage and take it one box at a time!

Darlene...I hope you are feeling better now. The flu is bad enough but the high temps and the moving added to it is enough to keep anyone awake and thinking.

One day at a time....you will make it through it and be comfy in your new surroundings soon.

i can only imagine- i know how michael is with not sleeping due to not bring able to turn off the brain and my own allergies are kicking butt again and i am so tired of packing and cleaning and don't even have a place to go to...and i miss you- i have some things that i wnat to talk to you about-your opinions wanted but i am not sure that you would talk to me yet.....there -i said it in public ...

Not sure why you think I wouldn't talk to you.....I never turn away from anyone that has questions or needs opinions, but remember when you ask something, you may not like the answer.....that goes for everyone....I don't sugar coat.....shoot from the hip grammy is my name...
