i just freeze and pray! lotsa liquid in with them too...we tend to cook them to death before we ever eat them--as a matter of fact i smell them now!!!!

I am at the office waiting for some brochures to print out and thought I would check in with you. I ususally do this at home, but for some reason they wouldn't print and I need them for my Open House today....so here I am...I was all ready to go to Mass and Mike had to go without me. Not enought time to do it all.
I have an Open at a cute house today...I sure hope it sells as they have an accepted offer on another house and are very anxious.
After my Open House I am meeting my best girlfriend and we are going to see "Brideshead Revisited" It is at Sundance 608...which is a unusual kind of Movie theater. Robert Redford built it and is planning to open a chain of them.[ [608] being our phone area code] It has amazing sound and very comfortable seats AND you may drink wine or beer as you watch the movie.
and eat snacks. Then we are going to the Rooftop of the Theater for dinner and another glass of wine...MY BUTT weill need it by then...here is a link that tells about it. http://www.sundancecinemas.com/index.html
My husband is taking his best friend's wife Susie [Ron died four years ago] to dinner and a movie also...she will go see all his stupid movies with him...I think they are seeing "Step Brother"...not for me.LOL

Hi Karen and everyone:
I could have signed on at 4 and chatted with you. I went to bed at about 2 or so and nodded off right away. At 4 or 4:30, I jolted up in bed, sweating to beat the band and my heart pounding away. Don't know why ... bad dream? sleep apnea episode (I have mild sleep apnea, mostly due to the way my throat/trachea is constructed ...sleep doc said it didn't wake me up at all in the sleep study) ... anyway, it disturbed me enough that I couldn't get back to sleep. I was drenched! I got up and got an ice pack and some ice water and a glass of milk and watched some TV for a little while until I calmed down and cooled off. Went back to sleep at about 5. Slept til about 11.
Appears to be a lazy day for me. Have laundry going, one litter box scooped. I want to dump one of them (the cats prefer one box over the other two, so that one gets used the most often and is the stinkiest). I have some thoughts about baking a chocolate zucchini cake (not WLS friendly) to bring into work for my coworkers for proofing my College Guide pages (granted, they should do this because it's their job, but right now, they're getting lots of demands for the Grand Guide ... our yearly "Answer Book" and lots of people are on vacation ... and the Grand Guide gives Tootsie Pops). Just depends on how ambitious I'm feeling. Right now it's not very.
Been watching the White Sox game but it's gotten ridiculous ... a fight broke out when one of the Royals got hit ... well, the last series, their pitcher**** our batter six times, and we didn't fight! This guy got hit once here and he charged the mount (he used to be a White Sox catcher). It's getting ugly ... the Sox are losing 10-0. Not playing well lately. Hopefully they'll start playing better this week when I go to the game next Sunday with my friend Phyllis from high school. Looking forward to seeing her again.
Anyway, I'm really tired and this is going to be a long week ... I'm on my own this week and next at work ... Kim is working days because we're shorthanded and next week I have Monday off to drive back from Chicago but then Kim is off the rest of the week. Lots of vacation time in the summer, and my boss is pulled right and left to make a schedule. I'm easy on him because I take most of my time in the spring and fall.
Well, that's all going on for me. My life is so exciting. At least I have a trip to look forward to. Happy birthday tomorrow, Kathi, if I forget and don't wi**** to you tomorrow.

It is raining for the umteenth time today. It rained this after noon while I was a t work. I worked today from 11 to 5. Not much going on there. I only cut 5 heads.
I am having trouble breathing. I hurt my ribs again after picking up my 18 pound cat. I cant take a deep breath or cough or it hurts when I get in the cabinet at work to get towels. It also hurts to bend over and pick up something. I hope it wont go on forever.
Well now I think Ill go soak in the hot tub and see if that wont help my rib problem.
