Top of the morning ladies,I figure I had better write this before I nod out,as it may be noon in eastern time before I wake up. I spent a lot of time in the pool with the boys today, did some exercising, all movement is good.
B-Grits and Cheese L-SB Frozen turkey Meal D-2 hot smoked links on one piece of bread and lotsa old fashioned yellow mustard. S- Lime jello with cottage cheese mixed in (Karen's recipe).
I am going to practice being grateful and positive today. I am not going to think of all the things I need, like a panni, which I am afraid of. I want to just be happy as I am, I want to love my body, each sag, each wrinkle, and each piece of loose skin.

Hiya Kathi,I am happy to hear you are doing well, the basic menu you have is a great one. I hope not to ever stray too far from the basics.
When I am low on my eating, I still fall back on a shake, it is yummy.
Enjoy your dinner..almost every place has some protein.I can remember going out and it was all about the food, now it is about the friends and such.
Hugs!

Hiya Paulette, sigh, my a/c stays on through the middle of October. I stay inside way too much, but oh well. I do think a lot about the homeless during this time. This heat kills, and I worry about the old folks who can not run the a/c. God bless them all!
I hope you are able to enjoy your food today, and that you eat enough.
Big Hug!!

Linda,
You are sounding more upbeat today. Amazing what sleep does for us. Kind of puts the world back in balance.

I was going to suggest my first venture into swimming in decades today- BUT it is a chilly 66 degress here. No way is that warm enough for anything but jeans and a cosy sweater. God must have decided to spare the poor public from looking at my sags, wrinkles and lily white skin.

I had my usual cottage cheese, Kashi and fruit for breakfast. Plans of chicken and salad for lunch have been changed. Tom just walked through the bedroom eating a sandwich made from MY piece of chicken. He didn't feel like the left-over pasta which was supposed to be HIS lunch. He always thinks my food looks best. Even if the plates are identical. Back to the drawing board for lunch. I think I will cook more chicken for dinner. Cluck Cluck

With love
