What we are eating and what's eating us. Friday!!

Hello all you sweet loving women. I read your messages yesterday, and was touched by your concern. I also felt Annette's pain of the loss of her mother, and Jean's bitter sweet visit with her mom.
I know I have been off center, mostly do to Olivia and my grands. Zack was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, AJ, the 10 year old is being tested for something that sounds like ass burgers, and Olivia with the bi-polar thing. They are all on meds, which I hate to see, especially the kids of course.
I have done all I could to give them a sense of routine and she blows it by letting them stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning, this has happened twice and we had talked about if after the first time. This caused me lack of sleep, lost time at work, etc.
So, Connie (my Boo), Brenda, Kathi, and the rest of youse, thanks for being here.
I am toying heavily and praying hard about my job, and will bust a move when the weather breaks, if I do leave. They are schedule bidding and I do not want mine's changed at all, so we shall see.
Other than that, it's 110 and the roasting is great. Love you all!
B- Kashi and milk L-Hot smoked sausage and yellow mustard D- A Smart One's Chicken meal S- Yogurt
That's all folks!

Linda,

Sounds like you've got your family plate REALLY full right now!

I'm pretty happy today because it's Friday and I'm having a massage this afternoon.  My back has been killing me (a workout injury - the old grey mare she ain't what she used to be) and I'm hoping the massage helps - if it doesn't kill me.

B: 1 packet weight control oatmeal w/ 2/3 c. skim milk, 1/2 banana, & 1 tsp PB2
S:  1/2 c. chocolate cottage cheese pudding w/ 1 tbl no-sugar-added cherry pie filling
L:  3 oz Vietnamese pork, 1/2 c. Asian cucumber salad
S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ strawberries
D:  3 oz chicken with olives & basil, 1/2 c. tomato, watermelon & cucumber salad
S:  1/2 c. raspberry frozen yogurt

Ahhh. Children and schedules, it's coming back to me.  Getting sleep at the right time is so important to their development.  It's hard to be a parent but we do the kids no favors when we let them make their schedules.  Even in senior year my son had an 11:00 p.m. bedtime.  Otherwise he would have never made it to school the next day ~ ready to learn.
I hope Olivia can see the importance of this.  I take it they are living with you.  Can you pull the "my house, my rules" card?  Cause girl, you need your sleep when you can get your sleep!

I'm in a dark place right now.  I've been gaining.  I know why and everyday I've been promising myself to put a plug in it now.  And everyday I give in to some tempation.  I took a walk today and I've been good so far.  Night time is the worst for me.  I'm going grocery shopping tonight and buy all the original things I lost weight eating.  Then I'm going to toss the temptation stuff I let into the house.  Wish me luck.

B - Pure Protein Bar, Applesauce 4 oz.
L - 1/2 cup Chicken Salad with apple, walnuts, cheddar cheese, lettuce
S - Yogurt with blueberries
D - Chicken somethin' and veggies
S - Glass of 1% milk

I hope Olivia sees the light and you get some rest.
Bev

Hiya Bev, we live in townhouses across from each other, and I am here to render what support I can. This is the 2nd time Olivia has un-done what we decided on...so it is more like "my house, love ya,go home now"! LOL!
Are you doing some emotional eating?? Tossing the nad stuff is a great idea, because if it ain't there,it ain't there.
Please remember that if you make a bad choice, you do not have to blow off your good food for the day!
I wish you the best of luck!

I sent you a couple of links in a PM. It is called Aspergers Syndrome if you want to Google it. Daa-aamn, you have had your share of heartaches and then some.

Food? Oh yeah, it is way past feeding time. Better get my head out of the clouds and the body into the kitchen.

Sweety Linda, you are never going to Hell, you are already living in that hot place called Arizona. That's too warm for humans.

Take care

Hiya sis! Never going to hell...LOL, I'd like to think I am on a learning curve! The boy is smart as a whip..with a touch of the overly excited scientist about him.
I kinda cheated and had a piece of watermelon. My head has been so far up my butt, I forgot it was in there,
I tend to isolate, you guys do not let me do that, you face me head on...smile, for this I am so grateful.
I love you.

Love and Hugs and Snuggles and Tenderness, Linda,

Family...... we just love them.  That's all any of us can do.  They call if life.  You will make great decisions with your job when the time is right.

Looks like you are eating well today.  I had ground beef last night for the first time and it didn't taste as good as it used to.  Going to stick with my fishes!

B-AchievOne

S-Protein Bar (in a meeting!)

L-Greek Yogurt (yum!)

s-Gruyere Cheese

D-Tuna (I think!)

Try not to fry in your heat!

Hiya Kathi, it is so true that some things will not ever taste the same. I had a hard time with hamburger meat for a year, it was like lead on my tummy for some reason.
I have just got to tell you one more time how great you are doing!
Hugs!
