Spying on my neighbors
They live behind us and I can look out of my utitlity room window and spy on them. I don't have to look hard because they are not one bit modest. So, the other day, she was doing something that had my curoisity aroused and I ran to hubby and said, "Where are the binoculars?" and he said, "why?" and I said, "Cause, our neighbors are doing something and I can't really see." He said, "You're spying on the neighbors?" I said,"Yes." He scolded me and I said something like talk to the hand and found the biocs and he followed me through the house fussing about me spying on the neighbors and I went into the utility room and looked and adjusted and it was true, she was doing something and I said, "She's doing it." and hubby continues to scold and finally I beg him to look and I tell him where and he was shocked and he did and he saw her too and she was moving around and suddenly he saw it too and said, "OMG, she is feeding them" I grabbed the binocs and looked and mama robin shoved what looked like the remains of a worm down the throat of one of her babies. Oh my nighbors are so cute.
Oh my word, you had me totally going and thinking this woman is as bad as I am! I actually did have some straaaaange neighbors for a time being. The guy was in love with his VW Rabbit car!!! When it would rain he would rush outside (day or night!) and stroke the car, talk to it and stand by it until the rain stopped! When he would get home from work he would sit in the car for a good hour, stroking the steering wheel, rubbing the dash and, in general, caressing the entire inside of the car! It got to be quite interesting when the weather would turn to snow as he could not move fast enough to keep every snowflake off that little VW. Looking back, I ask myself who was the strange one.... him for all his molesting of a Volkswagon Rabbit or me for watching!?!

Girl, you are as bad as I. Yep, my hubby really thought I's spying on real people. I've been watching the robin family all summer and love that she has raised two sets of birdies. I sometimes dig up the yard near the tree so she can find worms easily. Yesterday, I soaked the ground and watched her scurry along getting the bugs and worms that floated to the top.
