What's New Thursday!!
Good Thursday morning. Was at the gym before my DH even got out of bed this AM. Continuing to do the "doggie dance" (letting the dogs out, letting the dogs in). Will be going up to DIL's to "backwash" the pool and turn the filter on for 24 hours. Is gonna be in the high 90's for another week!! For some reason I woke up this AM wanting cookies! If I still feel this way tomorrow, I will go buy a small lunch box size pack of chips ahoy when I have to go out for other things! I LOVE this band! I KNOW I can have those cookies, if I really want them. But now just a few will make me happy, and I always wait 24 hours to see if this urge passes!

I am just dragging today.....still trying to catch up on work and things. I worked 9.5 hours yesterday and I will have a long day today as well. I will have to work some on Friday...ugh...I am used to my 3 day weekends....I love my Fridays off!! Next week will be back on track.
Jamie, Nic and Grace will be back up here and at Childrens Hospital for a few days ...August 12-15th. More testing for Nic. They need to check out the spot they found on his lung. Please keep him in your prayers...... I know so many of you do. We are praying the spot is nothing more then the slight cold he had at the time. We have to be sure it isn't cancer returning.
I went out last night for a glass of wine with a friend. I needed some adult time!! Love those grands but need this time sometimes too.
My cleaning fairy should be here anytime now. I didn't have her last week because I was in Iowa so things are plenty dusty today. I can't handle dust with my asthma and COPD.

Sorry to hear your butt is hurting, I fell over a tree root many years ago and did the same thing. It took a long time to heal. When our daughter was 2, she fell and hurt her butt. She wanted me to kiss it better! Hey, at 2 y/o, you can't deny that request.
Margo, great news on the extra hours to alleviate some of you $$ woes. Judy, congrats on the job. Connie, hope your car doesn't give you anymore trouble. Eileen, glad you mom came through for you.
OK, so what's new. Today is my 56th birthday. I'm all dressed up, well as dressed up as I'd get for work, dress slacks, decent shoes, and a nice blouse 'cause I have a date tonight! Not to worry, it's with George, he's taking me out for dinner!
