Road Tripper #2 is Home!!!!!

Hi its Carla,
I am tired and exhausted!!!!! I got to Bradenton Sarasota Airport at 1130pm last night. I had to take a flight from Ohare to Charlotte NC then to Sarasota. I had 30 minutes between both flights well that was less cause you had to get off the plane first!!!!!
On my way to Ohare there was a SUV engolfed in flames and burned to the ground in the middle os th toll way. Traffic was backed up for about 30 miles. Thank God it was going the oppisite direction or I would have been back at Paulettes house for the night!!!!!
We had a wonderful trip. almost 800 miles we drove.
Saw lots of country I never have seen before and I lived in the area for lets see 40 years!!!!!
Well I did go to work at 9am till about 330. Short day tomorrow is a different story!!!!!
I made the Zuchinni Lasgna for dinner tonight so I am going to goand serve it now

And after all that, you still worked today? Did you nod off in the middle of any of your hair cuts? I hope not. Boy, I would have been so tired. You are just the little energizer bunny, Carla. It was good to see you, if just for that short visit.

Hi There,
No I didnt nod off. I dont get a chance to breath when I am at work!!!!! I got there and was so pissed this morning. The drawer was 35.00 short when I counted it. I finally found out what happened. The guy that closed last night put to much money in the deposit!!!!!
and he didnt leave me a note!!!!!
Well I am exhausted so I am going to knit for a bit then watch some TV then go to bed.

Carla, I talked to Paulette a bit ago. She told me that you had to work this morning. I am not sure where you get your energy but can you share it with me? I will pay shipping charges if you send it to me. lol

Paulette and I talked for about 45 minutes. She called me and told me that she went grocery shopping and found some whole wheat couscous and bought me some. I am going to look for some sugar free syrup in raspberry flavor. We are wanting to meet sometime next week. That is going to be so much fun.

I am so glad that I got to meet you two. I was on a high for a couple of days just from the meeting. I know it wasn't the coffee since it was decaf! lol Paulette told me that she tried the McDonald's sf vanilla iced coffee today. She liked it. lol

Make sure you wind down and get your rest and we can all gather again and chat. Love and hugs to you, sweet sister.

If you can't find any SF raspberry syrup in the stores, check netrition.com; they ship everything for $4.95 second-day UPS ... their prices aren't bad either. They have DaVinci syrups, which are more difficult to find up here at least. They have a lot of other good low-carb stuff and protein stuff.

Hey Carla!  Sounds like you had a really good time on your trip.

I wish I had your energy!!!  I don't think I ever will have that kind of energy.....I never have had.  Where all did you go that you drove 800 miles?  Sounds like a heck of a trip!  I'm really glad that you enjoyed it.

Well we started out at Paulettes house and drove to see Brenda near Portage that was about 45 miles. Then we went to Eileens house in Hendersonville MI that was about 135 miles, Then we went to Pat R House and that was another 125 miles, Then to Muskegon and that was around 180 miles.
