Anyone with heart palps?

Just wondered if anyone experiences consistent heart palps? Mine began about 4 months ago. They are "benign" according to my DR but very disconcerting. I should have my surgery within the next month. Are these heart palps in any way related to excess weight? It sure would be wonderful if they went away after surgery ( along with  my fat cells)

Hi Linda,  I have or should say have had heart palps too. I used to have them alot but I I am down 45 pounds (pre-op) and now I only have them if i have too much caffeine.  My cardiologist said something about a "right branch bundle block " but that lots of people have them. So maybe that means "benign' .  I'm sure others post op will post about this topic if they have had this issue.  Good luck to you. I don't have a surgery date yet, still in the 6 months supv diet stage.  Paulette

I am glad that you are seeing your Doctor about this... I get heart palps when I am dehydrated... just a thought

HI, I've had those in the past...I used to cough hard to stop the cycle and increase my potassium and fluids, worked for me.
