Hello, I am home, Carla got to O'hare airport around 4 for a 6pm flight home. She has to change plans somewhere (Atlanta?) and should get in at her airport (Tampa?)around midnight tonight.(can you tell I am tired and sleepy? 
I had a short nap this afternoon but will be heading to bed soon.
We had such a wonderful road trip.
It was wonderful to finally meet my OH sisters Carla, Brenda, Eileen, Pat R & Margo & her DH Michael. I so much enjoyed meeting and visiting with all you special people. Thank you all for making our visit so wonderful.
Brenda, It was so much fun to meet you and find out how close you live to me...we'll be meeting up again very soon. How's the haircut? Margo got a trim from Carla and then Carla trimmed up my hair this am too!
Eileen, thank you for all the wls goody bag and putting us up for a night.
Margo, thank you for all the clothes and for meeting us at Pat's, please thank Michael for being our official photographer!
Pat, thank you so much for your hospitaltiy and the wonderful lunch and fellowship you provided for us.
And last but not least, a big Thank you to Carla (Happy Road Tripper #2), for taking me on this first of many adventures! Suitcase is still packed but will be ready to go again soon, LOL!!

It was wonderful meeting you and I'm glad you could come up for a brief stay. I meant to send you and Carla home with some chocolate zucchini bread and blueberry muffins too, but my brain was tired and I forgot. Oh, maybe next time. It was too short of a visit.
Carla sure loves to drive, doesn't she? I'll have to tell you about our cruise sometime and the post-cruise road trip in Florida.
I'm coming to Chicago Aug. 9-11 but my trip is pretty full already (Aug. 10, Sox game, Aug. 9, coming home, then Aug. 11, going back), otherwise I'd suggest a meeting ... unless you want to meet for lunch Saturday.

I marked Aug 11th in my calendar for lunch, for right now no plans, but this am Earl talked about going to the UP possibly that weekend to his brothers to see the travel trailer, they want us to buy. I thought we weren't going till sept for apple picking..??.. I'll know better in a few days. PM me your phone # I forgot to get it from you or Carla. But when you are in the Chgo area I'd love to meet you for lunch or have you here for lunch.

Thanks Paulette for making me a part of your road trip. I was so happy to meet you and Carla. I enjoyed it so much and got so much love and good feelings from you both.
I am looking forward to us getting together and doing some things since we are so close. We can't let such a good thing slip away.
Get a good nights sleep and in the morning things will be much clearer. It is amazing what a bit of sleep will do. I can just imagine how tired you are. I got you on the start of your road trip and emotions were so high and more than likely got even higher as the trip went on.

hey sounds like you all had a great time!!! isn't it fun to meet others that we talk to everyday?? seems like you and brenda have a good friendship going for you and i hope you get to be close like i am with my friend phyllis...what an angel she turned out to be for me!!! i miss being close to her but we do keep in touch...anyhow glad that you had a good time and hopefully we can meet someday also!!!
