I finally got a date! August 20th. I begin my liquid diet on the 6th. I'm so happy, but I have major butterflies in my tummy.

The time will go by very quickly! I have my surgery on the 13th, and I can't believe how quickly time has flown up to now.

Karla, congratulations on the wonderful beginning that you are starting into. It is a life that is beyond expression. My time has been one of ups and some down's but the up's are the most wonderful ones that you could ever experience. You wouldn't be human if you didn't have butterflies. I would think you were a bit nuts if you didn't. lol I was scared the morning of surgery but then by the time I got there and everything was so busy I never was scared again. I just wanted to get going and get on with this new adventure. Please keep us posted on how things are going and remember we are here for you when you need us. Even if it is just for reassurance. You are in my prayers for a good surgery and a speedy and pain free recovery.
