Friday's the day for flying!!

I'm an Australian who's not been home for 2 years, which was the last time my daughters, grandchildren and sisters saw me.

They don't know I had the surgery.

I'm down 79 pounds, and have gone from a 26 to a 14/16.

They are not going to recognize me, especially since I'm going to walk out of the airport doors wearing a hat and sunglasses. I'm going to sneak up behind whoever is there to meet me and just drape myself over them. They are going to FREAK OUT!!
 
How much fun am I going to have????

It's going to be a real kodak moment, but I'm travelling alone, so I'll have no-one to film it.

Just a few more days. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See if you can't get someone on the plane film it for you or maybe the information guy that walks around.....

I was thinking I'd make a friend of whoever I'm sitting next to, then ask them. It's hard though, the exit gate at the international airport in Brisbane is like a madhouse!!

Hey, the main thing is that I'll see it and always remember it.

I should be in bed sleeping as I have to be up in 5 1/2 hours for work, but I'm so excited about this vacation that I can't sleep.

Ambien, here I come.

oh, I've only ever flown  into Sydney everytime I've gone there.

hi kerry and welcome...also congrats on your weight loss!!!! sure wish you had someone that could take that "kodak" moment for you!!!! but like you said the momery you will have with you forever!!!

That sounds like one of the biggest WOW moments in your life, hope you find someone who can at least get a shot of it happening, but if not, the memory will live in your mind forever!

It will be a much more comfortable flight without those extra 79 lbs. too!   ;)

OMG how exciting is this! I wouldn't be able to sleep for weeks before going. I know when I met Carla and Paulette the other day we just asked someone standing by us to please take a picture. She ended up taking 4 of them for us. I think that people are more than glad to help out by taking pictures since they probably think that they would want someone to do it for them. And anyway it draws them into the excitement.

Make sure you have a wonderful and exciting vacation and please let us know who things went.

I'll be away for just over three weeks, but hopefully I'll find internet access somewhere. My daughter's don't have it, but their neighbors might have unsecured wireless.........LOL!!

I'm not sleeping too well now, too many things to organize and remember!!!! Gotta write a huge list of things for my husband to remember to do..........bills to pay etc.
