On the road again....

sorry! i <b><i>always</i></b> slip into a verse of willie!!!<br />

wow-what an awesome day.....i'm telling ya, OFFers, if you get the chance to meet your OFF sisters and brothers ...just do it!!!!<br />

michael and i left at about 730-stopped at the post office and the bank and got gas--stopped at a burger king drive thru for a horrible breakfast sammich (no dumping involved tho!) and arrived at Pat R's in sturgis at about 1130.....by 12 we were wondering where carla...aka carlascissorhands...and her compadre paulette were- they were close!<br />
<br />
anyhow- wonderful wonderful exciting and awesome to finally meet pat and hug ....awwwww..then to meet paulette..and another hug!!!! and carla...ya know....it's a strange and wonderful feeling to hug carla cuz it felt like home!!! each time i see her i feel so much closer ....anyhow- mucho conversation and pat fixed a delish lunch of zucchini and ground turkey lasagna-she promises to post the recipe!- and peaches with blueberries...yummo!!!<br />

we talked about dallas and pittsburgh and them seeing eileen and food and doctors and them meeting brenda and wls and and and and and and.... <br />
<br />
of course, we did the obligatory photo shoot!! and then carlascissorhands cut my hair too! just an inch off the bottom ...shall we print up biz cards..have scissors will travel??/i am teasing!!! <br />

we were all in awe at the size of pat's apartment-huge -very decieving from the exterior! and beautifully decorated-comforatble!homey!<br />

more wonderful conversation--i think we could have talked til at least tomorrow but i knew that we had a drive and , after all, i wanted to see at least one episode of the rifleman tonite! (hehe).<br />

it will be so wonderful to see the gals again in october..pat is my roomie and we will have plenty to share....as michael and i headed south out of pat's drive, carla and paulette went to the north.....on the road again......</span>

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Oh, how I wanted to go with Carla and Paulette to have lunch with you, but I couldn't get the day off ... it's so hard to get a day off in summer. I was wondering how the mini-get-together went, knowing I had met all of you already made me feel like I was there in spirit at least. ... but I wanted to be there in person instead of here, doing AZ briefs and the business pages and the stocks pages, etc.
I can't wait til Frankenmuth! Don't know where the money's coming from, but at least now I have $55 more a week to think about.

Cedar Point !!I lived about 10 minutes from there after I graduated from High School in Marblehead. My first apartment with a girlfriend.. ahhh mmmmm the memories, don't think I slept for 2 years. I haven't been to Cedar Point in over 20 years. How I would love to ride the rides, well not the roller coasters. Have lots of fun.
JeanB send me a pm or email with your itinerary! michael and i would love to meet you and brenda somewhere -out or here at our house- for coffee or a meal........i will not pay to get into cedar point cuz neither of us ride rides tho....
we actually took the same rte home- we drove 20 both ways to pat's...had planned to go home 12 but wanted to get home faster and did NOT want to take the tolls.....i'll have to look at a map and see where you are!

Margo, I know just what you are talking about. I got meet them and I am still feeling the love and the excitement from that. I get to meet Pat and Floyd and Brenda a week from Saturday and I can't wait on that either. I am meeting a bunch of my IN board peeps and that is so exciting too.
I am in total awe of how close Paulette and I live to each other. We made a promise to keep in contact and to meet for lunch, shopping or whatever! To think that we were this close and didn't even know it. lol What a waste of time.
Carla did my hair too since she didn't like the way it was cut the last time. I told her I only paid 2.99 for it and I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. lol
Now I am going to have to meet you, sister Margo! I am just waiting for that to happen. Oh heck!!! I want to meet EVERYONE!!!!
I thought that I had my ears ringing~that must have been when you guys were talking about me. lol Just as long as no secrets were revealed~of what am I saying~everyone here knows my secrets already! lol
