All you Y&R fans out there...
Hi all you Young and the Restless soap opera fans!!
Yesterday I drove down to see me sister who lives East of Lake Geneva. Well, we got talking and found out that Genoa City, the city where Y&R supposedly takes place is just 10minutes from her home. On the soap, they describe Genoa City as being a very large busy city with huge office buildings etc. Well, Genoa City is in reality very cute but not even a traffic light. The population is just over 2000. I took some pics with my cell but don't know how to transfer them to this board so I'll describe alittle....The welcome sign is made of barnboard, there is a bird shaped sign in town that reads
"Genoa City's Turkey X-ing, Go Slow". It is a nice little town but far from what the soap depicts. I had to share with my co-worker today that I was in Genoa City yesterday. I looked for the Neuman Towers and Neuman Ranch but no go.
