I am on day 3 of the 5dpt and was wondering if any of you who have done it drank protein shakes durning the 5 days? I know it is not on the list but I am wondering if it is ok. Thanks

No protein shakes the first two days, then follow the directions for days 3,4, and 5.

Days One & Two: Liquid Protein
low-carb protein shakes, broth, clear or cream soups, sugar-free gelatin and pudding. Read more.

Day 3: Soft Protein
canned fish (tuna or salmon) eggs, fresh soft fish (tilapia, sole, orange roughy. Read more.

Day 4: Firm Protein
ground meat (turkey, beef, chicken, lamb), shellfish, scallops, lobster, fresh salmon or halibut. Read more.

Day 5: Solid Protein
