Good Morning My OFF Family,

I'm up, about to get ready for my work day?  How about you, what's on your agenda for this day?  For Lora and anyone else in need, prayers and positive thoughts are going out for you.

Ok, I'm going to take my shower and get ready for the work day, I'll check in later to see what all is happening with you!

Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts, Laureen

Good Morning Laureen and Everyone........

I am up and ready to shower and start my day too. I wor****il 2:00 today and then am heading down to St. Paul.
We will be celebrating my grandson Lucas' 10th birthday. He is so excited to be out of the single digets!! Now he says no one can say he is a baby...except me and his mom of course!!!
Like I said yesterday.....I will be spending the night there and then taking my other granddaughter, Amanda (14), with me Thursday AM and heading down to Iowa for a long weekend. I look forward to the trip with Amanda. She is such a sweetie and we always enjoy our time together. Amanda is good company on the long drive.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will be checking in later to see how everyone is doing.

Prayers always to those in need.
Love and hugs to all.......connie d

Connie,

It's hard to believe you have a 14 yo granddaughter!  You truly look wonderful and I'll bet you feel like you can go, go, go now that you are a healthier and slimmer person!

Enjoy the b-day celebration of Lucas, my youngest daughter will be 31 this year and she is and always will be my baby, she hated that at one time, now she claims it's nice to be considered a baby by anyone. . . lol

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Laureen.....thank you for the nice compliment.I really do not feel as old as I am and most people think I am at least 10 years younger.

Amanda and Lucas have a sister Kyleigh that is 16 and then I also have Nic who is 15 and Gracie who is 1 &1/2 years old. They all mean the world to me!! I am so blessed!
My grandchildren love all the energy that I have. We do EVERYTHING together...I just don't tire out and I feel so good.

Life is good. I love WLS!!!

You are looking really awesome yourself. You are sooooo beautiful!
Congrats on the great job you are doing on your journey.

Love and hugs, connie d

It was really nice here yesterday, but did turn the a/c on
early evening as it was up to almost 80 in the house.....then turned it off when I went to bed. It's in the
high 50's this morning with low humidity.

Sipping my cuppa decaf and ready to go to the pool. This week the aqua aerobics class is off, so I pretty much have the pool to myself except for the peeps that are doing laps.
Wish I could swim better, I'd do laps too....it's supposed to be one of the best excersises for the whole bod.

I can't believe how much darker it is in the mornings now...
Our schools don't start until the day after Labor Day, but many states around us go back in August.

Guess I don't have much to say this morning....hope everyone has a good day. Connie....stay safe on your little trips.

Pat,

Sounds nice where you are today, it's still humid here, though the thunder and lightening will hopefully take care of that today. . .

It's never too late to learn if you want to be a better swimmer. . .  how about a class at the Y?  Just a thought. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Thanks Laureen, I did take lessons at age 40 - and even was able to jump off the diving board into the 20 ft. deep pool and NOT DROWN! I just have "a healthy respect" for water but I know now that I'm thinner, I could do pretty good at swimming.....my DIL is an instructor but don't know if she would teach me -- while I love her dearly, she is a little "stand offish"....and they've been married 13 yrs!!

We don't have a Y - but the community pool is just around the corner from my house.

Hugs back at "ya"

It's nice to see your smile as well (wink, wink). . .  I never hit the snooze button, once in a great while I'll lay there for an extra minute, but most mornings the alarm goes off at 4:30 and I get right up.

Hope you have a great day!  Laureen

wow we really had some thunder and lightening and wind yesterday, it was 91 degrees and so humid and within an hour the temp dropped to 66, I thought we were really in for something bad but it just blew over , not even any rain. My hubby and i were trying to put up new guttering and of course we had to stop so hopefully we will get it done today. there are way too many parts with that stuff. i think it would be better and easieer to use some sort of gutter glue than all these stupid parts. lol
i have been walking again for about a month now i get up at day light and get out and walk for at least 30 minutes. been doing it every day for a month now and beginning to notice some difference. next month i am going to increase the distance and time to 45 minutes. hopefully. our area has just enough hills that it gets the heart pumping pretty good.
nothing much new with me  so talk to you all later.
