what's new TUESDAY?
Good Morning. It's hot here in Nebraskaland. I thought we actually had a day without rain, but I heard on the radio on my way to work that there was a shower in the wee hours of the morning. Chuck has cute little toads all over and at night they gather under his big outside light because thats where the most bugs are.A couple nights ago I caught a couple and brought them home, Put them in a fish bowl, my grandson thought they were great. Put last night I got worried about what to feed them so I took them out and let them go in the yard, I hope they stay around.
My garden is starting to burst. I have given zucchini to every one and last night made a double bath of zucchini cookies and gave a plate to everyone I know. Ihave picked and cooked beats and green beans. Chuch whined that I didn't put onions in the beans so they tasted like"grandmas" He won't touch anything with onions in it so Il eave the onions out and he gripes, which is a laugh. I like inions in mine but left them out for him and he won't eat anything good for him anyway so why do I bother. I shredded to large zucchinis and I bet I have 16 cups of it. zucchini bread, zucchini in meat loaf, in soup. in stir fry.. tomatoes are just starting, Ihave one plant of Roma's and it is loaded. yum yum. I took mom out yesterday and we got haircuts then ate at Panara Bread. We both got tomato , mozzerella salads. it had the potential to be very good, but the tomatoes were like little rocks, yuck. I will make my own version when the tomatoes come out of thegarden. tomatos, mozzerella, basil leaves topped with a vinagette and little pieces of bread to sop up the dressing. Enough food talk, make it a blessed day

Hi all, well it's noon here...I am not off to a good start today. I was up at 4 am with sciatic pain in both legs,from the butt to the toes. It took a longggggg time for it to settle down to even move, finally got into the recliner and slept till7 since then trying to take it easy can't seem to sit for long or move around much , hope it lets up soon.. Top it off the hubby hurt his back/shoulder somehow so he is nursing that. Have a great day everyone, Prayers to all the need them today. Hugs, paulette

How great you look ... congrats on the 42 pounds you've lost. Try an ice pack on your back; that sometimes helps me (that and the vicodin and neurontin, but the ice pack does help ... it calms the inflamed nerves). Do you see a chiropractor? They can help you, too, by adjusting your back to take the pressure off your sciatic nerve. Hope you can get some rest. I have the same issues, so I know how it feels.

Thanks Eileen, I'm kind of between a rock and a hard place. The chiropractors won;t touch me because of the fractured vertebae, I need a spinal fusion and they can;t do that till I loose some more weight. I took a darvocet...makes me sleepy so I didn't do much today. I'm alergic to vicodin so cn't do that...mostly try to tough it out. I forgot about trying ice. It does feel better tonight. I just got home from babysitting Lily for a while while her mom studied. She is getting to be quite a little lady!!!!!
She got in trouble at the daycare today cause she said OH **** when all the blocks fell on another kid!!!!! That is my Lily. We are trying to get her to not say that and say OH Shoot!!!!!
I go to see the Surgeon here in town about my thyroid. I am having a Fine Needle Biopsy dont sometime after I get back from Chicago. I am so scared to have it done. I want to be put to sleep for it. I wasnt to scared for my RNY like am of this!!!!!
We had bad winds about 2 hrs ago 40 miles per hour and it poored rain!!!!! It was like a bad snow storm couldnt see an inch ahead of you.
Work was so slow. I only did 3 hair cuts in 6 hours. Makes for a long day. I got a call from the area supervisor. She said to be on the lookout that State Board was prowling around. So we did a frenzy cleaning. The shop is sparkling now!!!!!
I had to get all of the contraband out of the drqwers. Stuff that couldnt be sanitized, IE books, personal stuff you get the idea!!!!!
Well I am beat to wither the band today. I didnt sleep last night thinking of my upcomming medical whoas.
So I am going to retire and think about what to pack in my carryon bag for the plane and my trip to Chicago.
