I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning! I actually have a few minutes to post before I attempt to get ready for the day. Whew, I am tired. I think every part of my body just aches right now. I think it is more the heat than anything else.
Norronda was sitting up when I went to visit her yesterday. That's right. Sitting up in a chair. They expect to have her walking today. They allowed me to bring the baby back to her for one minute. Normally, they don't allow children under age 12. I explained that he is her motivation for this surgery and even a quick glimpse will lift her spirits. The pain has been a little hard for her to handle. They took her of iv pain meds. She wasn't quite ready for that. They now have a mixture of the pca pump and oral pain meds. That seems to be working for her right now.
I am only going to work half day today. I have a major meeting to attend this morning which may result in a change in my job. I do think I will take some time off afterwards. I can hook my laptop up and work from home if needed.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Aime, I am so glad that things are going well for N. She seems to be doing well and I can see why LP is her motivation. He is a special little bundle of joy. I am keeping all of you in my special prayers. All of our prayers seem to be working since things seem to be going well. Make sure you keep taking care of yourself. Get your rest and make sure you eat, even if you think you are to tired to do it. Keep us posted when you can on how things are going. We love you and hope and pray that things keep going up for all of you.

Aime,
I am so glad Norronda is doing so well after one day. I know she has the strength to get well and go on with life now. It will be a long road ahead of her with taking anit rejection medicine, but it will be well worth it.

Aime:

I'm glad she is sitting up; pretty soon they'll have her walking, which is really important. She has a long road ahead of her, and antirejection drugs for life; my friend Margie had a kidney transplant three years ago and is doing great because of it. It's lifesaving surgery; Margie would be dead without it. N will be able to live and take care of her baby because of this new heart. What gift of life it is! Her baby is her motivation, that's for sure. And you will keep her strong too, because you are her strength. But you must keep strong too, so get your rest. You're so special, Aime.

Hearing about N's progress, makes it a wonderful day!  Keep your strength up, dear Aime!

HIJACK......

Aime.....that news just keeps getting better. I am glad N is up and managing to deal with the pain. LP is such a blessing to you all. I am sure that brightened N's day to see LP even if for only a few minutes!
You are an angel....what a Godsend you are to so many!! Bless your heart!

I will continue with the special prayers for you and your family. I too hope you are finding a bit of time to take care of yourself. Water and protein if nothing else.

Love and hugs......connie d
