The hardest thing to do is keep up with the sipping. LOL  The gas, well, it will eventually pass.

Yep, so far I got through some coughs, a sneeze, and of course the gas. I am glad I tried those out on the first day!

Felice,

Glad to hear you are home, sorry to hear you have hives, but  sounds like everything else is normal.  The stomach noises are a hoot!

Hugs and positive healing thoughts, Laureen

Glad to hear that you're feeling well. I'm still pre-op, but understand about the stomach noises. I figure it's just your stomach saying "Thank You" for not putting junk into it anymore!

When the noise is coming from the other end, I think about what my 2 year old nephew said to his mother "that's just my bum saying I love you".

Take care! Maggie

welcome home!
keeping up withthe fluids is tuff at first-seems like allyou are doing is drinking and peeing but it is worth it!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Felice,
There's no place like home.

I used to measure all my water in one container and try to finish about 1/2 of it by noon or 1:00 PM. The visual of the container helped me know I was on track. I get up quite early in the morning, so that time frame worked best for me.

The allergic hives are the PITS!! I developed Thrush from the antibiotics too. Yuckies to both. My surgeon had to prescribe a medication because I was in agony from the itching and my tongue looked like I had been eating Polar Bears. Luke warm showers helped a teensy bit.
