Taking the Bad with the Good - without Food

Hi Jean,
It is hard to see our parents decline like that. I'm lucky - my Mom, who lives with me, is almost 84 and is still pretty good. She has her days when she forgets to tell me things or repeats back to me what I told her. We just moved and my brother passed away a few days before Christmas and between these 2 occassions, she has lost a little ground. I can't image how it feels to have loose so much of her memory. I'm hoping she'll be like her own mother and live to 94, and have a pretty good mind. The occassion forgetfullness I think is normal - I forget things now and then. What I notice most is when I'm home, she needs to know where I am all the time. It's kind of like when we were kids, we wanted to know where she was all the time - now it's the other way around.

Good luck with your Mom! Good for you for not using food! That is great!!!

Maggie
