TGIF! what's new?
Hi Margo and everyone:
I'm talking to Margo on the phone ... saw she had posted and was off, so I called her. So we're chatting now as I'm posting.
It's gray here ... I guess we're going to get some storms through here today. Good ... maybe it'll cool off. It was good sleeping late today. We had a later night because of concert/play reviews.
I've got to work tonight and of course, we have reviews, so it'll be late. And tomorrow night too. Well, at least I'll get overtime for that.
I found a great site for protein etc. It's called Netrition. Shipping costs are very cheap. I got three bottles of SF syrup and the shipping was only $4.95. Wow, that was great.
Well, I just got off the phone with Carla; Diva came in the room meowing up a storm. I guess she got up from her nap and couldn't find me. The condo isn't that big! She was a little frantic.
I guess I should get going and take a shower, wash my hair, etc. Not much going on here this morning. I should've exercised but that's gone by the wayside. Need to get back in that habit.

*~*~*~*~**~~* T G I F *~*~*~*~*~*~* I've already posted this on the "what's eating you" thread so I'll try not to repeat too much... Today I pack and tomorrow we leave for a mini vacation. We are going to central WA for a surprise 70th birthday party for my bro in law. He is one of those "characters" we have in our life. Very interesting man. Then I'll stay with my sis, hubby for a day before we all head to the mountains to camp. I love camping. They have a trailer to sleep in and I have the tent.. yah ! ! I love sleeping with the smells of the mountains. Maybe the huckleberries will be ripe. After 3-4 days of camping we will meet up with one of my other sisters and I will spend a day with her & her daughter's family before heading home on Friday. I'm really looking forward to this little trip. I was hoping to come home with a box of peaches and pears to can but I don't think they are ready yet. Too early here..... I pray everyone will be safe, healthy and have fun. Millie
a pretty uneventful day til i went to the post office today- a packet from chase talking about foreclosure-freaked me out! tehre was a glitch in our payments and so this packet went out- i got it straight after a frantic phone call...ya know ; making the call was bad enough but not being able to get a person without selling one's teeth is frustrating--just answer the phone and talk to me!!!!!!!!!!!!
made a few other calls to dr offices for michael and then took a nap-i was so whipped after that foreclosure crapola...do they know what they do to ppl?????
well- we have had our supper- michael made an awesome pot of chili the other nite- and now i am waiting for the rifleman to come on-only about 20 more episodes..i'll miss them when they are done!roxie and i sit glued!
i know- i need a life!!!!!!
so very very hot and ucka out-my cukes are dying off.......

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Yeah! It's Friday and PAY day more importantly! Whew! Did bills after I got home then went to store and just got the family room floor mopped up from some pee type incidents that suddenly appear in my house whilst 3 doggies are alone.....and it isn't from MY 2 I don't think.... So I go to the one vet we use for spay/neuter surgeries and pick up paper work. walk in and there is one of our fosters with Shaggy a black doxie. She wanted to know if I would take him over night. well, yeah, instead of boarding I guess so. Then I went in with him to get his shots and come out and she is there with Kandee, Shaggies sister from same house (rescued from pound) and wanted to know if I would foster her too. well, uh yeah I will take her home and see. Well, she is afraid but sweet, Shaggy is fearful and STUNK to high heaven. He got a bath immediately. he is not real fond of me right now......
Toes are healing up, still quite sore and feet are bruised a lot so walking too much is not painful but plenty sore. So I haven't been doing a whole lot this week. Got the stitches out yesterday and that alone feels better, now once the bruising goes away it will be better. While I was at the store Angus and Pepper found the wonderful treats the vet place gave me to befriend Shaggy boy, well, now I am SOL! I have those two barricaded in my spare bedroom so the other 3 don't drive them nuts. Shaggy is going to another foster tomorrow, don't know about Kandee yet, but as quite and shy as she is, I may hold onto her for a bit. we'll see.
That's my life in a nutshell! have a good weekend all! Oh yeah, my brother works for biolife! He is an RN too, and has worked for them for several years now. His wife is an RN too but works at a nursing home. I can't do the plasma thing because I am on blood thinners and I have a clotting mutation. I can't even donate blood anymore because of the coumadin I'm sad to say.
