TGIF! what's new?
Oh giggle - Margo, we were typing and pouring our coffee at the same moment. I deleted my message. Two identical threads are confusing.
Two more days of intense family activities are in store for me. By Saturday afternoon I think I will burst with the love I have felt. It has been perfect.
Melanie's 3rd birthday was beyond description. She greeted each guest holding up 3 fingers and announced " I am THREE now, I'm a BIG GIRL". Then she held up her pinky finger and said "Matthew is only one, he's a BABY".
One gift from her Mommy and Daddy was a pink, model-T, pedal car. She received a princess dress up kit, complete with pink high heels - those plastic heels for kids and her first pair. Melanie looked adorable wearing her feather adorned high heels as she climbed in and out of her new car. When asked " where are you going?", she responded " I'm going shopping with grandma". I told her daddy that he should provide her with a credit card too.
Today we are all going to a park, Lindsay and I are having a private shopping trip, then a family barbecue later tonight. Can't recall what we are doing tomorrow.
I'm going to sit on the deck, sip my coffee and watch the hummingbirds. A touch of quite time before this day goes into overdrive.

Good Morning Margo and Annette.....Annette it sounds like a great week and cutie little Melanie....well I can just see her...what a little princess!
I am up waaaay too early...as I fell yesterday .....tripped on a rug and hurt my shoulder...and it woke me up at 4am...and I haven't been able to get back to sleep. I think I will need a trip to my chiropractor before my golf outing this morning.
I think I will hop in the shower and see if I can loosen it up with ho****er. Just had to check in and see who was up with me.

oh marti...ouch! is it a rug at home? we have had to do away with any "rugs" since michael seems to have a dragging toe....

Thanks Margo....yes it was a runner..a thick oriental type...that I walk over millions of times a day.......but I had a bag sitting ready to go out and kind of swerved...going too fast and whoops down I crashed.....landed on my right shoulder....it seemed okay yesterday, but all those little pain buddies gathered while I was sleeping and attacked me aroumd 4 am......I may have to take a Vicodin and "hydrate" with water as you suggested....unless my magic chiropractor can fix me up....shower didn't help much...but I am sure clean...I stayed until I ran out of ho****er...LOL

Marti, take care of yourself ... I can trip over a vinyl floor without rugs ... almost did it the other day walking out of work. Have you tried using Ben-gay or some other rub on it? I would have done that they other day but I have no one to do that for me (and the cats just don't like the smell!) But you have your hubby ... or the chiropractor recommended an icepack to me too, and it really helped.
Eileen sweetie..l.went to my chiropractor this morning, after begging his receptionist to get me in...and she did....I said " Okay Joe, I need a miracle this morning, I have to play in a golf outing and I fell yesterday and jammed up my arm and you have to fix it for me."...He laughed and said "well I am not sure I have a miracle in me this morning, but I will try...."....and he did, he adjusted my arm and my hip and massaged my arm and then he taped it for me and I played 18 holes today ....I did take a couple of Vicodin during the morning and ealy afternoon, but then I just had wine....and I did great....We had a great time. Thanksd so much for your concern.
