YAY what a difference 2 months can make! I am also at my 1/2 way point already. WOW! So incredible ... sooooooooo FABULOUS!

I'm getting lots of walking in and hope to get in a gym program soon.

I haven't been on here in a long time. Dealing with eating problems (getting it in and keeping it down) and constipation. BUT I think I am getting better.

Congratulations! I hope I can get to exercising soon after the surgery. I go to Curves 5 days a week now to help keep me mobile and somewhat fit. I think I got addicted to the exercise.

Thanks! How do you like Curves? Do you feel it is worth the money? You will probably have to wait 6 weeks after surgery to get back into it. Best wishes to you ... i feel great!

I absolutely love Curves...especially since they put in the new smart machines. It gives you a much better work out. Yeah, judging by how tired I am today after my workout, it may be too much for a while after surgery. I do think it is worth the money, it saved my mobility. (I was well on my way to not even being able to walk around in the stores).

Congratulations on your accomplishments. You have come a long way.

With the DS: there is no stoma, so no stoma strictures; there are no limitations (other than volume) against drinking before, during or after meals; 80% of ingested fat is malabsorbed; 98.9% of type II diabetics are CURED of this devastating disease, with data showing stable cure over 10 years out; there is the best average weight loss and most durable (average 76% excess weight loss going out 10 years) of all of the bariatric surgeries.  That's why I had a DS!
