You walking to me
Okay, so you guys may remember that I’m addicted to walking. I think it’s a psychological thing from having been in that damn wheel chair for so long. So, the last few days, it has either rained or been to hot and humid to walk out doors, so I have been doing my walking in the local grocery store. I tried the mall walking, but I end up buying things and Wal-Mart is always so full of people so the local grocery store is great. Anyways, there’s this old man who works there and I’ve noticed that the last few times that I’ve been in the store, he tries to give me prolonged eye contact and he smiles. Yesterday, he actually leaned on his mop and gave me a flirty look and girls and guys he is as old as the hills. So, I’m walking up and down the aisles and I try to pick up a little thing like either bread or something since I’m using their store for my walking trail. Anyway, this old man keeps on hitting on me and finally I’m checking out and he actually walks up and tries to give me his number and I try not to laugh and I say, I’m married, and he says, then why you coming in here hitting on me. I say what and he says look, you’re in here every day and you just buy one or two things and you walk up and down the aisles and it’s obvious you’re here to see me. I had to fight to not laugh out loud. I explained to the old man that I was walking there that I did it because it was hot outside, not hot inside. So, hubby says that I deserved that since I don’t ever wear my wedding rings. I am now shopping for a new store and am doing my walking in the gym, which I hate.
