Welcome, welcome, welcome. I am pretty new here myself. I spend most of my time, here or on the lap-band forum... only because it seems these are the folks I can best relate to.  I am celbrating being one week post-op today!! Yipeee! I'm so glad that is over with. now on to the work ahead. These wonderful people make the journey look doable and worth every effort.
Blessings and hugs, hoping for the best,  Donna H

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone and the warm welcome!  I know in my heart this is going to be a place that I will make wonderful new friends, share my ups, downs, tears and laughs.  My journey is still relatively new so I also know that I am going to be turning to this group for help and support.
Thank you again!

Welcome to the best board that is in OH. I do hang out with the Indiana board but I find myself likeing this one best. I know that part of reason is because I can relate to these guys better. There isn't that drama and crap going on here. We say things the way we see them and I love that part. We are like a little family here and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have OFF. Please post often so we can get to know you and you can get to know us too.

Hi Katherine,

You won't find any nicer bunch of folks than the ones on this here board!  Though the local board I post on is a close second (PA).  Glad to have you here and looking forward to getting to know you.

Take care, Laureen

Hi Katherine,
I'm also a newbie to this forum and have been warmly welcomed. I've do post on some of the other boards, but I feel that I fit in well here and like the positive approach. I thought that being 50+ had unique challenges and am very happy to find that it isn't necessarily so. There may be some issues, but more than that, I find the people here GREAT! Maggie

Hi, Katherine....  Love your attitude already!!!   I sure am glad that I've found the OFF MB.  There is a difference from board to board, as you mentioned.  It's nice to find a haven beyond the havoc!  Welcome!
