As summer emerges, we are some busy people..how great! I am grateful to be able to move more, I am 40 pounds to goal now. I am making ammends to my body, coming to love the deflated balloon that I am. rather this than my own zip code for my arse..LOL. I am feeling my emotions getting stronger!
B-SB Granola Bar L- 1/2 sandwich, with turkey,ham,pepper cheese and white American Cheese..a power lunch..LOL.
D- Yogurt with Kashi S- Orange..cold, and juicy!

Way to go Linda!!! You need to show us new pictures.

Birthday week is very busy here. Last night I was surrounded by 4 grands, both daughters and their spouses.
oh yeah - the X was there too, with his stupid fluffy dog in his arms. He doesn't pick up the kids but the dog never leaves his lap - foolish man.

Travis (14 years old) gave me a big old hug and said "You have gotten even smaller" I hugged back and responded "Well my love, YOU have gotten taller!!!"

Lindsay just hugged hard and long. Ahhh, felt so good.

Melanie is enchanted with her two older cousins. She immediately noticed Lindsay's painted fingers and toes. Maybe Mary will relent and let Lindsay paint Melanie's too.

Food - ??? whatever, I know the routine and the fridge holds what I need. No changes or surprises.

Wow, what an accomplishment.  I hope those 40 lbs. don't take too long for you to lose.  I am happy for your health.  I know what you mean by deflated.  My boobs still fit in the cups of my bra but I have to rearrange them so there are no wrinkles in the cup since the folds of skin just stay where they are put.  And the arse is still there, just lower!  As witnessed by the nice butt shot my husband got of me with the camera while trying the new see-saw we gave the grands. But I know 88 lbs. ago there would have been no trying out the see-saw with the grands, we are so blessed.
Same kind of menu as always:

S - Blueberries with yogurt
L - Wendy's chili
S - Blueberries with yogurt
D - Chicken somethin'
I'm going to drink a lot of water today.  It's supposed to hit 95 here today.
Have to do the bowel prep tomorrow for a colonoscopy on Friday a.m.  They say that is the worst part.

Hi Linda,

Day started off with a bang. Had to take youngest daughter to eye doctor. Even though she is 21, I still feel the need to go. Her eyes are bad, not to put too fine a point on it, and last years appointment was rather dicey. She had acquired the habit of sleeping in her contact lenses. Pure laziness on her part, no other excuse for it. The outcome was she permanently damaged her retina. I go to the appoinments to get all the information since something might be lost in the retelling!

Pre-B: GNC vitamin drink. B. Protein drink. Snack: Protein bar. Lunch: Laughing cow cheese wedge w/5 Trader Joe's mini-toasts. Snack: Yogurt/w/granola. Dinner: Hot dog and beans.

I couldn't tell if my headache after the appointment was from stress or not having my usual morning protein. I stopped home and made my protein drink and felt better. Probably mind over matter.

Hello Linda. I hope that today is going well for you. I loved the things you said about the deflated balloon and your own zip code. I can see the truth in all of that with me. My butt wasn't the one that needed it's own zip code but my front. It was like people could say "Here is the front of Brenda........she will coming around the corner in about an hour or so!" I think those days are gone, or at least I sure hope so.

Today is staying home time because of the ozone action day in Porter county. I have a bit of asthma and I am not taking the chance of anything bringing that out. I have to work on my sermon too. I have found that they don't write themselves but boy I wish they did.lol

B: sf oatmeal and a banana
L: 1 piece peanut butter toast
D: chili I think-I am gong to surprise Bill with it
S: don't know maybe yogurt with Kashi

I better get going. I hope that your day is wonderful and I am sending you love and hugs and my special prayers are going up for you and yours.
