New to this board
It's nice to find an active board and with people in my age bracket (62). Had my surgery in Nov 05 and leveled out at a 160 pound loss. I decided recently that plastic surgery is not for me and am going to try to lose those last 15 or 20 pounds the hard way. I had no problem maintaining for over a year but now I am trying to shake things up. Joined a gym and walk 3 miles every day. I don't work any longer so I fill my days with physical activity. Have an appointment with nutritionist Wednesday of next week to get some advice on getting this weight loss train moving again. Any advise on those last pesky pounds would be appreciated.
Congrats on what you've achieved thusfar, as someone says on my homearea board (PA), this is about "successing" because to succeed implies we have finished something. You are taking charge of health and lifestyle and there will be those on here further along to give you advice on losing the last few pounds.
Welcome to a very friendly and supportive place, which is another part of this journey, support, in my book, is paramount to continued success. We lean on one another, make each other laugh, share one another's triumphs and whatever else life brings our way!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
