Really hard bumps

I was lying in bed and hubby was there and I felt these huge bumps in my pelvic area.  I say, feel this and he says omg what are they and I say I’m not sure but they might be tumors or scar tissue.  He says call the doctor.  So, for a couple of days or nights I felt these huge bumps and wondered what they could possibly be.  Well, I finally succumb and call my pcp and say to the receptionists, I have these huge bumps on my lower pelvic and they are really hard and large.  She says okay I’ll get you in tomorrow morning and I say okay and so I go to the doctor and he comes in and says what’s up and I say I think I have two tumors or one really large one that has sort of horns and he says horns and I say yes and he says let’s have a look and so I lie down and he pulls my pants down and I lift my hips up so the pants can come off easily and I say there, you can see them and he pushes and laughs and I say what and he says those are your bones and I say bones and he says yes.  He laughs and I laugh and he feels around and takes my hand and says bone, bone, bone.  I say, ahhhh, bone.

I was so afraid for you UNTIL I got to the 'punch line.'  WLS allows for so many discoveries, doesn't it?!!!!

One day, I looked in the mirror and I saw all these shoulder bones and I thought what is going on and then I realized that others have these boney protrusions too, that's normal.  Then, I found my breast bone and my wrists and elbows and knees and now these pelvic bones are really beginning to stick out. LOL  You'll see.  One day they'll scare the hell out of ya.

i still play (fondle/rub/touch) with my collar bones!!!!!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Darn you Jeannie - I'm going to start reading your posts backwards from now on!  You scared me!

So ... did the doctor write : BONES for the diagnosis? Too funny.

Just wait until you lay on your back to do a self breast exam, then discover there are NO breasts, only ribs. Kind of funny - kind of sad.

I have no breasts either.  I have skin and some more skin and some more skin but no real breasts. I do feel my ribs and more and more each day am finding them more prominent.  Hubby says he feels them on my back but I think he is being funny.  I have to say that I like feeling the bones.  I really do. Is that sick?

One of my coworkers who is really skinny and not well endowed like the rest of us in the office.  Went to the Dr. because she kept feeling a lump in her breast.......turnd out it was a rib.
This post reminded me of that.
