Crossing Fingers

Barb is in Omaha to get a fill. She sent me her cell phone # and wil be just a couple of miles from where I work. I sure hope it works out that we can get together for lunch or a "cuppa" I am SO excited. I might get to meet a sista.. I may get to meet a sista. Yippee Yippee Yippee..

OK ,Miss Toetapper, if we were 10 minutes apart we would  meet at least weekly and you know it.. Yes I gave Barb a hug, wether she wanted it or not, no one gets away from me without a hug, especially a sista. I have been trying to GET to Ohio for years. I really wanted to get to Ohio this fall, but I would barely have the $$ for gas, and then  the gas prices shot out of this world, so I am very doubtful that I wil be able to make it this fall now and no way I could do Frankenmuth, as fabulous as it sounds. But we will get together I promise, as long as you don't move to Hawaii, or some other exotic place.

hey there girl friend, how have you been????

I have been fantabulous.. or at least close to it.

I have been pretty good too now that I have both shoulders done, both carpel tunnels done and both cateracts gone...if my lower 1/2 hold out I should be good...

I did met Jean after my appt.  I was so worried I was late for my Dr. appt. but should not have been concerned I had to still sit and "visit" with other wls people.
Then Jean called and we met and went to Village Inn.  I was scared to eat after just having a fill so I had a glass of cranberry juice while we got acquainted.   She looks so good, I just hope when I am 4 years out I will look as good as Jean does.
I went on to Fremont, Ne after I left Jean and visited a cemetery and finally found the graves of my great aunt and uncle.  They markers were covered with weeds, so I did some weeding and of course I forgot my camera so went to WalMart and bought a disposable one.
Then I called a cousin who I haven't seen in 20 years.  We met and I had an ice tea and I brought my wedding album with me she had been in my wedding and we did a lot of reminiscing.  Turns out her daughter had wls surgery a year ago.  
So all in all this was a great day.
Oh yes Dr. White said he was "extremely please with my progress"  (patting myself on the back)

Your trip to Fremont sounds wonderful. Hey, you didn't show ME your wedding album, I would have loved to have seen it. Of course Dr. White was pleased, you deserve it. If wasnice meeting and talking to you. Blessings
