ot: Michael update
when i spoke with him at 2 pm he had just gotten his first ice chips!
at 6 pm; the surgeon had been around, NG tube was removed and he was cleared for liquids-was still waiting!!! was salivating hoping to have cream of wheat!!!!
he had his uppers and lowers in but no "glue" and none at the nurses station!
his surgeon would not commit to when he would be released-we are hoping tomorrow?
tho it has been kinda nice having the house alone-don't tell him i said that!!!
i will go to work tomorrow- i feel much more rested today and have been pushing fluids and protein.
thanks for all of your continued concern and prayers..and yes, maui karen...enough already!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
