It's Saturday on the West Coast! What's up?

Kind of like "Sea lettuce" huh? You are so adventurous when it comes to trying different things. Don't think Seaweed Salad would have EVER entered my conservative little mind or tummy! HOpe you're doing better. Heading out for a walk soon. I'll take the phone.

Good Morning Little Pixie Cheryl and Friends, I promised I wouldn't linger this morning. Me off for the third morning in a row for a nice long walk. Did 2.5 miles yesterday morning and I'm going for 3 today. I'll check back in later. All y'all have a great day. Cheryl, our front page was covered with pictures of the Spokane Valley fires. I often marvel at the tinderbox of the Cheney area when we drive through there in the summer. All of the underbrush is so dry right below those marvelous pines. More later.

Well, I see it wasn't just me not being able to post last night.

I am up again, and will go walk on the treadmill soon. Double time since I went crazy last night. I am one of those that can eat sweets and not get sick. Just great!

This is a pain, huh? Everytime I skip a line to make a new paragraph, I have to change the font or it's teenie wheenie.

No, I take that back, every new sentence.

I am heading back to scrapbook and face more food that I shouldn't eat. I even packed my own stuff last night and I still didn't behave. 

The fires aren't out yet and now the smoke is came our way last night, my asthma is still in control so that is good.

My sister has one, and about 3 to 4 tables had a person who had one at the crop today. I wouldn't use one enough to justify, my sis likes hers. I don't even use hers. I think they are pretty niffty though. I enjoy cutting stuff out. My sister thinks I'm weird. I find it relaxing. Hey, maybe I will take some pics of my pages and put them on my profile one of these days. You could too and that way we would be kinda scrappin together!

Hi Cheryl and all, I tried to start the thread very early this morning when I was up for some reason for 3 hours but couldn't even post!  ???? gremlins I guess. 

I was in a foul mood last night. I should spell that fowl I guess.  there was a baby robin on my back patio, Angus tried to get it last night when he went out, it hid (I didn't know it was out there until after they went out) Pepper got a hold of it and try to chase a beagle with a baby bird in its mouth around the back yard on feet that have been walked on too much that day 1 day after bilateral toe surgery was not a fun time.  I finally got the bird away from him but I fear too late, it was still alive when I put it over the fence, but I fear since I touched it mom and dad won't take it back and it wasn't in good shape after Pepper play. Bad big bad beagle boy!  So after being up and around way too  much yesterday I was a hurting turkey and with weird sleeping pattern night before and a repeat today, who knows what I will be like after the event today that I am not planning on staying the whole time for anyway.  Gosh I am running on aren't I?  Janet is so right, some days just suck.  I hope today is better.  Iwas  up at 3 am and took a bath, put new bandages on the tootsies and finally got back to sleep about 530am.  up again at 730.  I sure hope THIS doesn't continue. very unlike me.  Oh well, enough BIT muCHING and will get busy doing something.  LOL! have a good weekend all! 

Hi Cheryl and Everyone,

Well, I've had crazy computer problems for the last two days.  Today is no exception.  At least I'm here posting....... for the moment.  Not sure how long my success will last.

I've been out walking the last couple of days trying to lose some weight.  No success thus far but I'm walkin'!  My "Snapple" Diet (as I have now named it) continues with drinking so much Isopure to try to get the extra protein in.  Isopure tastes alot like Snapple to me for some reason.  At least I'm not getting the bloated, full feeling I was getting from protein shakes that are milk based.

Had labwork drawn yesterday for doctor's appointment on Monday.  I have my fingers crossed the protein is up.  Now just have to find the magic key that will make the weight go down!  I'm going to find a nutritionist and start working to come up with some balance.  I'm really tired of "everything you put in your mouth should have protein in it."  That's about all the advice I've been getting at the doctor's office.  That means no regular water and that just can't be right.

My friend's little dog died yesterday.  She was a 4-pound Maltese named Sugar Baby who lived 18 long years.  Truly incredible and sad to lose her.

morning everyone!!! wow its great to be back online again!!! all the computers in the house crashed a few days ago and we just got it back up and running late last night!!!!! i sure have missed you all so much!!!

well its been a crazy week here let me tell ya!!! monday both bandit and myself got a haircut....not sure if i posted about this or not but while i was getting mine cut this woman ran her car right thru the building!!!! missed my car by about 3 feet!!!! she had no idea what happened at all!!!!! wow!!!! bandits haircut looks good on him and i am sure he is alot cooler now!!!! my hair looks great!!! am very happy with the cut she gave me...well its alomost its almost like i normally get it cut but there is some different style to i guess...lol took bandit to the vet on wednesday and he has all his shots now and is a healthy boy!!! he weighs 11.3 pounds and dr said he is doing good!!! so thats a relief!!!! heartworm check was negative and he is now on the pill for prevention....sighs...had a call yesterday for another job interview monday at 1. i think its for factory work....i called this ad couple weeks ago that was inthe paper and they called me back and set up an interview...wooohoooo should also be hearing from BJ's hopefully monday also. i just need a job soon...money is going fast!!!!

today we are supposed to go to ricks co-workers for the parade and a bbq or something...i know there is a festival going on that rick wants to go to. by the way did i mention he was called back to work?? he went back monday and has a full week in already...the money now will be coming in friday for us...yippeeee so tired of living by a thread its not funny. right now he is outside cutting the grass. i am sitting here in my nightie on the pc and having my coffe...need to get ready soon tho.

last night we were at his friends and one of the women there asked me if i lost more weight...i said only what i gained before the move here...she said i looked so much more trimmer...maybe i was losing inches?? hummm have to check this out i guess....i went with diane (ricks mom) to her tops meeting wednesday night and they insisted on weighing me...well i am still at 190 by their scale...so i have lost the 6 plus pounds i gained when i moved here!!!! i am happy about that!!!!

ricks aunt sent some clothes over for me that she didn't want anymore....not sure if i should be insulted or what...they are all in 2x and 3x sizes!!!!!! hell i was wearing that size back when i weighed 334 pounds!!!!!!! i told her thankyou for them and left it at that....so i am going to give them to someone that can actually wear them!!!!

the other morning when i took bandit out to go to the vet there were a couple deer in the yard...2 nice bucks!!! the one that was closest to me looked at me and started coming closer to me!!!! i thought omg is this deer going to charge me now or what??? so i yelled and it turned and went into the woods....lol i was sort of afraid at the time tha i was gonna be attacked....lol i love the deer and the other wild life that i see here but not that close to me!!!!

ok i guess i rattle4d onlong enough here i better get ready for the parade before i get yelled at lol nah rick doesn't yell at me at all....he is good to me....i love him and he loves me what more could i want?? i am totally happy except for not having a job to go to!!!!

Janet and Debbie.....so sorry you had a sucky day. Hate it when hat happens!!

It's now 4:20 a.m. here and pitch black outside. I am doing my baby day at the hospital in about an hour, but have time to come in an play with you all for a few minutes. I have color in my hair and when the dinger goes off....it's into the shower.

After be retired for about 7 years, it has felt very strange to go to work every day last week. I'm loving the extra money, and they have asked me to stay another two weeks, and I certainly will. Only drawback is that for me sitting in a chair at a desk for five straight hours is killing my back. I came hope with a killer backache, and had promised my sick friend that I would take her little doggie, Bubba, for a walk on the beach. Well, I did that, and when I brought him home, my back was on fire. My friend gave me a couple of tylenol with codeine and that did help a lot later in the evening. Anyone have any suggestions for something to take for backache.......regular tylenol does NOTHING for this.

I'm feeling guilty because I have two couples from different states (Calif. and Washington) visiting Maui right now, and I have had NO TIME to go and play with them. Working six days a week keeps me jumping and then very tired in the evenings. I WILL make plans to go out to dinner with one couple tomorrow night. They used to come to Maui even year back when my husband and I came every July, and about six couples called ourselves the "Maui Family" because we would meet here every July. All of them came to my wedding back in 1992 right here in a little church by the ocean. Wonderful time.......incredible memories.

I hope none of your are being affected by the fires everywhere. Those things this year are really going crazy......touching so many people and destroying so much gorgeous landscape.

Well, this is the only way I can post in Editor 2, Editor 1 wouldn't come up. Karen, the only things that help my backache are Vicodin, Neurontin and heating pads or ice packs ... I alternate the heating pads and ice packs when my back is really hurting ... or if you have access to a hot tub, that helps too. ... or if you can get in a swimming pool and stretch it out, that helps too.
