Good Morning Ms Debbie and everyone!    TGIF   I hope you get to feeling better quickly Ms Debbie.  Are you going to Anderson's tomorrow?     I am still dragging from last weekend at Cedar Point that made 5 weeks in a row and to top it off with a whole weekend but the weight loss has been good!     Oh how fun it is to be able to do the rides!    I'm not sure who's having more fun me or the grand kids because I can finally ride with them.    Not much else going on around here I need to stay home for once and get some weeding and cleaning done. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Hey girly, haven't heard from you in AGES!  Yes I will be at Andersons for a few hours each day.  I still don't do heat well and with the feet needing to be propped up I won't stay all day, nor will I help set up or take down like I ususally do.  Sorry, I have to live with this body, they don't!  LOL Fortunately I can run in, well, er waddle like a duck in and get the blueberries I need for my daily cottage cheese fixes and with the coffee/tea bar right there at the entrance I can also get a great iced tea!  Hmmm, maybe even an iced CHAI tea!  we'll see.  You stopping up?

Hi Debbie and all, It is a cool morning and winds have died down. Spokane area is on fire...all 3 stations abc, nbc and cbs had coverage from pm till this am...some homes lost and it got pretty near to the valley city area. I just heard 12 homes. Wasn't contained last night and not sure if it is yet....very scary...to have so close to the city... We are babysitting my dog niece. She is such a good girl. Scapbooking tonight and tomorrow unless they have canceled due to the fires... Have a good day all Debbie, hope your tootsies feel better and heal quickly. Cheryl

Fires, how scary.  Every area has it's potential for disaster - earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fire, flooding!  So how close are the fires to you? Debbie

Debbie, I am making a guess that they are 10-15 miles away. Right outside the city limits. Maybe 20 miles. I think only the rural areas are threatened because of all the trees and brush. One near our home was a furniture store seperate from the other fires but keepin firemen busy. They had to just let it burn as it was too big. The smoke is awful further east. Smelly here but my asthma is ok right now and I think the wind is not blowing it my way at this time. The night sky was lit up orange tho...The govener paid a visit and that was a huge deal I guess as she usually stays over in the Seattle area. C

That smoke is hard on people who have asthma ... take care of yourself. I lived in Anaconda, MT, the year Yellowstone was on fire, and the smoke from the fires in Idaho would waft over into Montana and settle in our valley ... it really bothered my allergies. And the football players who had asthma had a really hard time breathing (because the stadium was in a bowl area in the valley ... Anaconda was in a valley anyway). So take care of yourself and stay indoors as much as possible.

Those fires were hard on me too. I took a nebulizer everywhere with me that year. We had something they called "Firestorm" here several years ago and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days with breathing problems! Not bad so far...
