i wanna go back to bed and it's not that i am cold.... tho it was very chilly out when i took roxie this morning! and dew-ey on the grass! today is plasma day 1.... nothing new here-at all..... maybe later! hugs and prayers to all

I'm up, showered, made the bed, put a load of towels in the washer, emptied the charcoal ashes out of the grill, swept off the front porch and watered the tomato plant!

I'm sweating!!

Oh, that's probably because I'm drinking hot decaf!

Today I am getting hi-lights put on my dish water blonde hair. It is getting quite gray, but because it is blonde it doesn't show to awful much, so the beautician said this would be a good way to lighten it up. Yesterday I went for eyebrow wax and facial hair removal -- ouch! I go every four weeks for hair cut and five weeks for the bushy eyebrows.

It's cloudy here this morning and around 60 degrees. Have the house open for now, but if it gets humid again I may have to close it up and turn on the a/c.

Grocery shopping day, ugh!

Good Morning Annette and Friends,     Well I just got done posting about our coming to Frankenmuth in Oct. So I'm very jazzed up this morning. We talked it over a bunch last night and did a bit of juggling things around so we could have at least one night with some of my sisters.... we plan to stay Friday night and through at least lunchtime Saturday with everyone and then get on down the road to stay Sat.night with old friends in Jackson,MI. Which still gives us a couple more days to get home.... we want to arrange a couple more quick stops to meet Floyd & Brenda if it's possible and Debbie G too..... then if we can get it all worked out we're hoping to stop for the night in Ithaca,NY. and meet up with Annette and Tom,and then Maryann L. as we are close to her on the way home.     On our trip out we're planning to stay our first night in Niagara Falls and of course see Nancy B and JB and Candy . While in NW Wisconsin We'd like to make a day trip over to the Twin Cities and meet up with a few more OFF sisters if they'd like to.    Today I have to be at the library at 9 am to help set up for our big summer fair that takes place on Saturday 9-1.... it's a yearly event that's always a big hit... yesterday I baked and froze 5 doz mini  and 1 doz regular sized muffins for the bake sale.    Tomorrow I have to be at the Josiah B Dennis Manse for a meeting of those of us from the garden club who agreed to do a floral design for the August Flower show that's held there in conjunction with the local festival days. It's got some limits - my design has to not only fit into the zodiac theme- mine is Virgo- but it can only be 8 inches high and wide - including the container.... yikes what have I gotten myself into ???     It's been very hot and humid here these past few days, we got a light rain during the night and it's  not supposed to be as bad today but the forecast is for more hot & humid stuff for the weekend - oh Joy !

Morning everyone, Ahhh, another night of good sleep, finally catching up on what we missed during vacation. Nothing like your own bed and pillow!! Isn't WLS amazing?  I got on the scale today and didn't gain an ounce while eating out at our old favorites and having cake at the wedding. Gary too....stayed the same!  Now, before, we both would have been going into another size clothes from our marathon eating.  Life is good. I'm FREAKING out over this Walk From Obesity thing. Posted a plea for help on the AR board, so hopefully there will be some takers.  The chairperson e-mailed me that there will be a meeting on Monday for the "Walk Team", whoever that is!  She's never told me there was a "team", can she mean the two of us?  God, what have I gotten myself into? If it weren't for having to go through the hospital's Foundation this would be so much easier, but that's just a maze of red tape. There is so much to do and I'm so overwhelmed I don't even know where to start. But, I guess it's like the old saying:  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at  a time! Guess I have to get off the boards and get to work. Say a prayer for me, I'm gonna need 'em. Hugs to you all!

Hi Annette, Prayers answered. I got four solid volunteers tonight at our support group meeting and Lauren (the chairperson) told me to come to a "Walk Team" meeting on Monday.  Team? I said?? Oh yes, there will be someone from each of the other hospitals as well as the bariatric doctor's staff. Nice of her to let me know AFTER I pulled what was left of my hair out  LOL Love the elephant.  It still applies. Lots of work to do and so little time. Hugs to ya!

Good morning Annette and Friends Annette, how cold is it in your area.  I woke to 80 degrees @ 5:15 this morning.  Cold yes, but only because George insists on having the a/c and ceiling fan going.  Now that our sons have both moved out, we have what we call our summer bedroom back.  We took one of the spare bedrooms, put in a window unit, and use that room during the summer.  That way we turn the main a/c up high and don't pay to cool the entire house all night.  It really saves lots on the electric bill.  Nothing new or exciting here.  I'm still a bit under the weather, achy, sore throat, and coughing all night.  I'm worn out.  Wish I could have gone back to sleep this morning.  I actually got to work earlier than usual, I was ready a few minutes earlier, so rather than get sidetracked with something, I headed out the door.
