I really like raspberries, and thought that syrup would be good in anything - NOT!  A small amount was good in cottage cheese or hot tea, but OMG, I'll never forget the taste of that coffee!

Hi Linda, All is well here, but I think my body has decided this is where I am staying. Can't get past the 132.5 and can't stay there either. Keeps going back and forth 2-3 lbs. I admit it worries me. For a minute. But then I think, I would be so happy just to be this weight forever and not ever get back to the past. So..... I have been back walking on the treadmill and watching the carbs... Drinking more water...so we'll see. B-protein shake S-yogurt and Kashi L-meat and cheese roll up, strawberries S-yogurt and Kashi D-cottage cheese and blueberries Congrats on your bonus! Cheryl

Cheryl, there's nothing wrong with 132.5 if you feel healthy!  You've done so very well with your tool.  BTW, I'm not one to mix peanut butter with many things, but mixed with the banana flavored Weight Control oatmeal it is delicious! Debbie

Hi Debbie, Well it's actually 132.5-135 and it's great but I am still not at the goal. I have never reached a goal in weight loss and it kinda plays with my mind.  I still don't think mixing peanut butter sounds good! It sorta gives me the urps to think about. Cheryl

Debbie, Just have to butt in and say I LOVE peanut butter in my banana bread weight control oatmeal.  Yum!  The PB2 powder works great.  I usually chop a banana up in it too. Jean

Cheryl, The 2-3 pound fluctuation is quite normal. Do you WANT to get lower? I thought your picture looked perfect already. I hit a stall around the 8th month from WLS, just as my dietician predicted. I hovered around 159 for the longest time, stuck to the plan and the weight started rolling (falling slowly, not rolling) off again.  At about 135ish the dietician said it was time to go on maintenance - scared me half to death. She added more foods to my plan and I just kept losing weight. Here I am at 20 months out and still lose every now and then. this is one INSANE journey!! I think you are doing GREAT!!! Annette

Thanks, Annette, I am sneaking on here at work! I think the weight I am at now is good I just wanted to "reach the goal" as I never have before. Mind games.  I just did a health assessment thingy at work and all my stuff came back wonderful! I may post another WOW post, but I don't want to hog the WOW stuff. May sneak back on later. Thanks for your words of experience, they really help! Just no peanut butter mixing for this gal! Cheryl

Cheryl, How tall are you?  I'm 5'2" and would be thrilled to get to 132.5!  But like you, I've been wondering if my body is done with this whole weight loss business now.  My weight has been going up and down between 136 and 140 since the beginning of June.  I'm no quitter and hate to give up on my goal (130, which would finally be a "normal" BMI), but if I never lost another pound and just maintained where I am now, I would still consider my WLS to be a resounding success. The last time I saw my surgeon, he said that it's still possible to reach my goal weight, but that at this point it's quite normal for the rate of loss to slow way down. Jean

Hi Jean, I was measured today and I am 5' even. My BMI is still considered in the MOD RISK. I am today 134... I am sooooo happy to be this weight, but the goal set by my Doc is 127 or 128 can't remember (he told me two different ones last year). I just want to reach "the goal." I never have and would like to be able to say I did. I have reached the much better health goal! We have both had our WLS about the same time and lost about the same weight. Good job! Congratulations! I always enjoy reading your posts. Cheryl
