What's New ~ Tuesday

Hello Joyce and everyone else, and Happy Birthday Connie ! I live in Northern California, and the fires are shifting again.  Five more homes lost today.  Our hospital is participating in the evacuation of a neighboring hospital and nursing home, and we are staffing the evacuation shelters with healthcare providers. There is so much ash in the air that it looks like it is snowing!  Plus, the weatherman says that it is going to be 113 degrees today.  Quite an intense and stressful day for many in our region.   On the positive side, I have finally hit the 125 pounds lost mark!  I thought I'd be done at about 105, but my body thought otherwise.  I'm waiting for a stable weight before I begin my plastic surgery journey, but I'm anxious to finish up this process.   Hope everyone has a safe and peaceful evening!

Well I had my Ultrasound on my neck today. It did show a nodule on my thyroid. Not sure if it was small or not. Ill have to wait and see what the doc has to say.  I worked from 9am to 3pm and went to see the Doc for the Ultrasound. Then off to OUtback to meet up with Lily and her grammy. Then to Walmart. I didnt get home till 8pm. There is a hurricane brewing in the Atlantic!!!!! Not sure if it is going to hit here or not.  If it doe**** it will be the first one I have ever been in. I am going to make sure one of our cars is full of gas to I can high tale it up north. Not sure where Ill go but North it will be. Well off to bed so I can get up and go to work and do it all over again tomorrow. Carla
