What's New ~ Tuesday
It's so great to come in here right at sunrise and spend a hour or so with you all as I watch the day turn from night to glorious sunshine over the ocean. It's the BEST possible way to begin the day.
Yesterday I was out of here BEFORE the sunrise because I had to get to the airport for my flight to Honolulu. As always, it was a LONG day. The flight from Maui was late...making me get very antsy....but I got to Honolulu and after catching a cab from the airport to Kaiser Moanalua ($20), I arrived just in time to sit in the doctor's exam room for a half hour!! Shee****his is the plastic surgeon who examined me. He said I don't really need a whole lower body lift....my backside is good (Ha....that's exactly how he said it..."your backside is good") I guess that was reassuring, but somehow I have a feeling he was giggling inside. He's going to do a tummy tuck from hipbone to hipbone on December 3rd!! He said I will have a flat belly and my bellybutton will be moved because the old one will be gone!!
I'm not sure exactly why I'm doing this, but it seems like the right thing to do to finish the process. I told him I thought I was too thin, and he said "lift weights!." He's probably right.....I would gain and it would be muscle. I guess I will look into doing that.
This morning I'm back to IMUA to work in the office for the rest of the week, and then next week back to just my baby testing at the hospital. I sure wish I didn't have to worry about money.......then I could just look for work that was satisfying and not so much for putting bucks in the bank.
My kitties, Nicky and Poki, are out laying on the lanai in the sun. Poki is my little hunter, and she's waiting for a wayward gecko to streak across the walls, and then she will be on a hunt! She often catches the poor things and plays with them until she tires of them, and then Nicky EATS THEM! They have a little system going I think....she catches, plays, he eats! Such a deal. Not so different from a lot of man/woman relationships I just realized.....LOL.

Thank goodness we don't have gecko's around here. Poki and Nicky have the perfect relationship but oh yuckies ... what a sight that must be to watch. My furbrats would love that sport too.

Good afternoon all my OFF family. I am late but I have been oh so busy! I thought that I would have a chance to post while I was up at the church office the last couple of days but no such luck. I have been going every minute of the time I have been there. If it isn't one thing it is something else. I guess the old saying is right~no rest for the weary. I also heard no rest for the wicked. I still have another couple of days of do do do and then I am hoping that Friday may be a easy day but then again Pastor is going to be there on Friday and so heaven only knows! A girl can hope though! I was suppose to go to a meeting at church tonight but I decided that I am going to a jewlery party at Ella's tonight. She hates to have those parties but her cousin is selling it and it is like Ella said~the things that we do for family! I made the dessert for the party since her refridgerator went out a couple of days ago and it was only 3 years old and the compressor went out. Now they are telling her that they can't get the guy out there to put it in until Friday. She was on the phone all day yesterday working on getting someone to help. I don't know if she found someone today or not. She called me at the church this morning and asked me if she ordered Subway sandwiches for the party if I would get them on the way to her house. So that is one more thing for me to do today. haha What we won't do for friends! Sound familar? lol My neice ended up at the E.R. yesterday with such pain that she couldn't stand it. It ends up she has a kidney stone. Boy was she disgusted! Like that is going to help? She hated the idea of having to strain the urine and she called me at church this morning. She went to work and is feeling better. She wants to hang out tonight. I told her that she could come to the party if she wanted and I am not sure if she is or not. She told me that if she doesn't get tot he party she will call and then we can hang out. I hate to tell her but I am a lot older than she is and I go to bed at 9 when the clock goes off at 6 in the morning. haha I can get up at 5 in the morning and since that is my idea I am alright. When that clock goes off I just want to curl up and huddle under the blankets and go back to sleep. lol It is so hot here the last few days. It is suppose to keep getting hotter but I am hoping that someone is wrong!! Please!!!!!! I can take the heat but the humidity is so high it takes your breath away. I can't take that! It gets the asthma going and I don't like that. Hmmmmm........wonder why? I am keeping everyone in my prayers. Special ones are going up for those in need of them. I feel like I am home again being back here again. I am sending love and hugs to all.
