It's MONDAY--July 7, 2008! What's happening??

Good morning Lora and Friends! Sat. was errand day.  George and I did get to two thrift stores.  At one I found 3 pairs of slacks and a pair of jeans, he found one shirt.  At the other, I found a knapsack type purse and he found a pair of dress slacks and two shirts.  Afterward we went to lunch, back home to drop off my leftovers (forgot the small ice chest) then back out to renew our fishing licenses and to the movie.  "Get Smart" was better than I thought it would be.  My mom called before we left home the first time to say my two sisters and nephew were delayed at the airport - problem with the plane - YIKES!  They were to leave at 7:15, then rescheduled to leave at noon.  The airline made arrangements for a nonstop flight to N.Y rather than through Atlanta so they could make their connecting flight to Berlin.  ~They're on a trip with my nephew's school band.~  Youngest sister called her DH yesterday to say they were in their hotel room in Berlin.  I know she was nervous when we were at her house on the 4th.  She hates to fly. Yesterday we went to Mass, to the pharmacy, and back home.  I did my usual weekend cooking for the week.  Just as I finished washing the last of the dishes, the phone rang.  It was my middle sister and neice singing M I C K E Y   M O U S E!  They had arrived at Disney!  Can't wait to join them Sat. This morning I'm at work but will leave shortly to see the doc again about this personal itching/burning.  It goes away for a day or two then returns with a vengeance.  It needs to go away before vacation.  The boss is expressing doubts that I really have doctors' appts.  I need to remember to get a doctor's note saying I was there.  Don't really need any krap from him. Debbie, What campground are you going to be at. I am thinking of going to Universal Studios on Friday July 18th overnight and may camp at Fort Disney. The prices are high but hey it is only money!!!!! Carl never has been to Universal so I thought I would take him. Carla

Carla, I believe my sister said it was Fort Wilderness Campground.  We're heading home early Friday morning.

Debbie, You will love the Fort Wilderness Campground. Lots to do and you wont even want to go into the park!!!!! If you are leaving on Friday morning then I wont venture up there. But I know if you are taking I-75 up north you go right thru my town. I am in the Bradenton-Sarasota area. Call me and I can come to meet you for a few minutes if your brother in law will stop!!!!! I would love to give you a Sistah Hug!!!!! Tell him we have one of the most popular beaches here. Lido Beach is awesome!!!!! Right on the way home!!!!! You can park the bog motorhome and Ill pile you and your family in the new car and take you for a little tour!!!!! Carla By the way my cell is 303 726 1802. Carla, my sis and BIL keep telling me 5 days is not long enough to see DW.  I believe after 5 days in that heat I'll be ready to leave.  I'll see what I can do, but being at the mercy of sis and BIL, one never knows what to expect.  I'm taking your # and will at least try to give you a call. Good Morning Lora and Everyone....... I am up...barely!1 I am definately partied out. 4 days and nights is too much for this old girl!! I am so worn out. It hit me hard this morning. Today is my cat scan...recheck of my kidney....every six months. I pray all goes well with that. I am fasting now until the scan at 12:45....doctor at 1:45. I don't mind the not eating but the no water about kills me!! Another work week begins.....I am glad I am able to work around my doctor appointments. Being my own boss and setting up my own schedule sure makes things easier. Good to see all of you this morning.....I will be checking in later. Have a wonderful day! Good Morning Lora and All, Well life is back to somewhat normalcy this week. Carl is home and being Carl!!!!! Seems he made a double payment on our motorhome and now he is *****ing that he is short. So guess who has to save the day!!!!! ME for his stupidity!!!!! Well at least I wont have to make that payment next month!!!!! I am downing a cup of Starbucks that I made at home but it isnt the same as getting at the store. So Ill be of to Starbucks in a few minutes!!!!! I am off work today and just chillin. I need to go to Walmart and get some of those Plastic Dressers to put in the closet. I have to many clothes!!!!! It is supposed to rain sometime this afternoon as it always does. Well nothing else going on. Carla

Im with Connie, I am actually glad to get back to work for the rest. Too many activites. Thursday was Legion Night,and I spent the afternoon  at Chucks house,( with Chuck for 7 hours)Friday I had to be up at the crack of dawn( and I am NOT a morning person) had to drive over 3 hours to be in a 30 minute parade( was with Chuck for 12 hours). All I wanted to do was go to bed early that night but I live with in a block of Gucchi fireworks display, thousands  of people flood to my area. It's like having a house in a great vacation area, every one wants to come to my house to watch the display. So I bought supplies for Root beer floats, or banana splits for the family who came over. All the parade stuff was with Chuck, but he wouldn't come to my house for the fireworks.Saturday went to a wedding and reception of Chucks cousin( was with Chuck for 8 hours) Sunday was Church. sat with Chuck for hour and a half. After Church we were having a ladies ministries and meeting. As he left church he loudly exclained to the pastor. " Someone needs to change the scheduling of this thing.I haven't seen Jean all weekend and it is our only time together" There are no words for the anger I have right now. Just how flipping controlling does he think he can be??? Also, and I knew this was going to happen, at the wedding people kept asking when were we going to get married. I just turned and walked away. Everyones mouth just dropped open. Of course he asked me on the way home what that  was all about. I was unable to say a word I just sat quiet. I am afraid to start, I will just spew and he will be hurt, hear only what he wants. I never can say what I feel, because he doesn't ever really listen. One time I actually allowed myself to be angry at him and he turned it around athow angry he could be. He is a master manipulator. If he won't listen then I won't talk, and we will not have anything more than a superficial relationship. That's fine with me. Enough with my gripping. I just ate a string cheese and it tasted wonderful. In the early days of WLS, I ate so many that I couldn't eat them anymore. I am starting to enjoy them again..Ohhh  I picked 3 zuchinni from my garden this weekend.. yum yum yum.Iknow aht I am having for dinner tonight..Have a great monday

omg jean how do you put up with him if he is like that??? you are so pretty you can do better....jmho please doen't take this the wrong way...over the weekend i met ricks aunt and uncle...he is very controling and abusive to boot!!!! soon as i met him i knew there was warning signs to be careful....so sad that men have to be like that!!! my firsy husband was abusive with his fists...gary was verbaly abusive to me....rick is supportive and full of comliments too and NO its not because he is in a new relationship with me...sure we have our bad times and fight..we wouldn't be normal if we didn't fight...he walks away or i do before we say the wrong thing....we do make up before going to bed so thats a good thing!! i just don't like seeing you having this control freak doing this to you all the time....sorry if i overstepped my bounds here but i had to get it off my chest.

Aloha and good morning Lora and everyone!

I'm alternately rushing around this morning and sitting down to read some OFF posts. I am leaving soon for the airport for another trip to Honolulu. This trip is to meet with the plastic surgeon to see if I'm qualified for the lower body lift. I have no clue whether he will accept me or not. I don't have tons of hanging flesh on my belly, but enough so that it squishes together like a lump of dough. Would be nice to have a flat, tight belly again.

It has been busy lately, and I've not posted like I want to, but I am always here off and on...and try to at least read everyone's sharings. So often I WANT to post, but am running behind and have to get up and go, go, go. Hey, I live in Hawaii...my life is supposed to be that of a slug. What happened??????? I want my life back! Soon, very soon.
