Hi Lora and Everyone, It's Monday and a new week begins.  I'm going into work this morning for a little bit.  Mainly to request the two more weeks leave the doctor's office would like me to take.  My coworker is going to be very disappointed as they've been keeping things afloat in my absence.  Health has to come first though. Quiet day yesterday.  My friend came over for a visit.  She's dieting the old fashioned way so she brought her lunch and I did my protein things.  We watched the Wimbledon finals.  Quite dramatic ending.  After she left, hubby and I started watching Season 3 of "24."  I'm having alot of trouble falling asleep at night.  I decided to get up at my regular "go to work" time and see if I can doing anything about the sleep disorder. No weight change this weekend for me.  I was disappointed but will wait it out and see what happens.  I am feeling better so I think the low b/p is settling down.  Being off the water pill must be helping in that department anyway. About 8 weeks after I had WLS we went to visit cousins in Susanville, CA. It was a lot higher in altitude than my body is used to. I about passed out twice. When I got home the doctor checked and took me off of the remainder of my high BP meds. Haven't needed any since. One of those wonderful by products of this surgery! Probably you will see a TEMPORARY lack of loss from going off of the water pill. That makes sense doesn't it?

I tried to look at those plateaus early on as a chance to catch my breath. Everything was changing so fast that I'd needed to regroup for a day or two before the next steps down the scale. Hugs!

morning to my off family!!!!

its a nice day so far here in wickliffe ohio...gonna get hot tho they say...have laundry to do and also get bandit to the groomers for his make-over...gonna call about me getting my haircut also today....in this heat and humidity its flat as a pancake!!! man i hate that!!!!!

got up early this morning to get rick off to work....i took him and i found my way back home too!!! LOL now to go pick him up at 4....hummmmm lol i know the way now...lol

got a couple more apps filled out and will turn them in today also. rick said just wait soon they will all be calling me in for a job....yeah right...but i am not giving up yet!!! there has to be a place out there that wants me...heck i am a nice happy friendly person that likes people and does a great job too!!! now why can't people see that i me?? sighs....

talked to my mom yesterday and she was upset after finding out i didn't have a job here....i told her to stop worrying about me before she makes herself sick!!! she said she has to worry about me because i am her kid....yeah ok ma...just don't worry so much then....lol

we went to texas road house for dinner last night...yummm and nope i couldn't even eat the smaller appitizer size meal...had leftovers to bring home and finish later...but it sure was good!!!!!

heard a pop sound last night and didn't know what it was til this morning....the line that all my clothes were hung on snapped and all my clothes are now on the floor....have to figure out something now to get them hung back up...guess i will have to get a new line and maybe hooks??? maybe a rack to hang them on??? see what happens today...day is all messed up with bandits haircut and maybe me getting one and then rick gets out at 4 so maybe after he cleans up we can go then to get new something for my clothes....lol

kathi...maybe you are at a stall right now and your body is trying to figure out what happened with all this weight that has gone away...hang in there sweetie.....it will move again soon!!!! take measurements the inches will be gone i am sure!!

Judy, Texas Road house is one of Chucks favorite places to go.  I usually getthe "Rick's something 6 oz sirloin steak from the kids menu. Yes  I still end up takinghome enough for 2 more meals, but I feel like I am spending a huge amount of $$ on food I dont eat. Ihave also gotten the rib basket from the appitizers. yummy food, they have the best mashed potatoes ever.

hi jean...thats what i had last night the rib basket...ate only a couple fries...yuck...lol but the ribs were really good!!! the ribeye steak looks soooooooooooooo good but then i can't eat it all...sighs..and rick doesn't like his steak pink in the middle so we can't share it....but he could warm it up later and it wouldn't be pink lol maybe next time i will try the steak!!
