Good morning OFF family!                                      Good Morning  It is almost 5:30 AM here on the east coast and I must be the only one awake...although I haven't gone to bed yet (insomnia)!   So as you all wake up to start your day, post and share.                                         Computer  I am having another laid back day...maybe some laundry, cleaning and chillin' (although the temp is supposed to reach 88 degrees--hazy, hot and humid).  Still can't drive til I see my doctors on Wednesday for my post-surg appts.  I think I will stand in the shower til the ho****er runs out to get these steri-strips to come off already.  My surgery was a week ago, and they are still stuck on me like day one!  Must have super glue under there???                Couch Potato      Laundry      Maid    Okay y'all...post away!  And have a marvelous Monday! Hugs galore, Lora  PS--Thank you again to all of my OFF family who sent me birthday, anniversary and get well wishes in the past few days.  I am touched by your kindness and my heart is full!!                             Kisses

It's 4:55 am here in Nebraska (Central Time)  I could not sleep. Got lots to do today. Have to take my daughter to motor vehicle dept.  She forgot to license her car in July and guess who got stopped on July 4th.  At least she got a break they gave her a fix it ticket. Then I have an eye appt at 10 am.  Then off to work. Hopefully we can get the Dr. to call us with the results of my daughter's ultrasound and why they think she needs a cat scan. Then off to work I go. I remember those strips they put on you after surgery.....I think it is very super glue they use, it seemed like forever before they finally fell off.  Looking back it wasn't that long but at the time it feels like it. Have a nice day everyone and keep cool.

Morning all.....
Gosh I'm really glad the weekend is over.....it was so long for me with nothing really to do. I did read two books, well, finished one and read a second. Yesterday I went to early church, then home and bbq'd drumsticks. I think I need a lesson on using my little charcoal grill.....the fire goes out about half way through cooking. The chicken legs got done, but just.

Back to work today and looking forward to being with people. Can you tell I get pretty lonely???

Oh Margo, I got a card in the mail for the Nelson reunion......it's the "Joseph E. Nelson" family. My g'ma was a Nelson, but I'm not sure if Joseph was her Dad or Grandpa. I never did find the history. I plan to go, it's on the 27th of this month and naturally that's the same day as our church picnic....guess I'll miss the picnic.

Going to finish my decaf and off to the pool to water walk.

Have a good day, everyone.

me again--ok--my immediate thought on joseph nelson--my william had a son joseph born feb 17, 1802 in Ontario, Canada and he married Miriam York.they had children tho i don't know your gramma's name..... they probably came to Michigan about 1840-1850---many of his (william's)other children did. now-william had 11 children and many of them had sons named Joseph so it is possible that your joseph could be one of their sons; tho he is not the son of my direct ancestor (william's son) john or his son john. and sooooooo.....we need ot talk about what your grandmother's full name (maiden) was and when and where she was born.......and if you can find out where this joseph was born..... when you go to this reunion this weekend- you must please take my email address -heck-take my mailing address-(heck-take me!)along and share it with someone who is doing the family geneaology --and if they have a printout on the family grab it! oh-sorry!!! that sounded bossy/selfish!!! could be that we are related miss pat!!!!! oh man...i love reunions!!!!!

Morning Lovies,  We're up bright and ealy for a 6:15 flight back to AR.  Had a wonderful time and can't wait to tell you all about it.  Caught three beautiful sand bass on the first day home.  No, didn't get pulled overboard, but had lots of fun anyway. Wedding was great,  good stories there, too.  We'll see if there's a chance that I can figure out how to get any pics onto my  profile.    Gotta run, I'll check in later.  We're exhausted, so it might be a bit.  Love and miss you all.....more than you know!!
