Hi everyone! I just woke up!! The kids and the fireworks,oh my!! B- Kashi and a little milk. L- Pineapple and Cottage Cheese D-Ribs and small salad S- Yogurt Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

We slept in today too... would love a nap but, round two of the BBQs is starting. I did very well yesterday with my eating. However, my tummy is tender today so I'll be careful when eating. Yesterday my son did the most tender brisket. Old habits dye hard; I took too much and tried to finish what I took. sigh, do we ever learn. My strawberry rhubarb pies were a great hit, ironic, they didn't taste good to me... sigh Today.... B: toast coffee bacon L: cottage cheese w/fruit... D: careful choices S: protein shake. Millie

Hiya Millie, the easterners are so far ahead of me. I am eating smaller meals. I have had trouble with my eating, not getting in enough protein. I will try harder today. I hope you enjoy your day!

Better late than never Linda. You need your sleep. the gang has left and I am tired out. We cooked enough for an army, sent home several doggie bags, yet still have enough left-overs for the next couple of days.  It was fun but I am used to a more quiet day. All the bustle and noise can be exhausting.  Time for jammies and doing nothing. Ahh, family is good but it is also good when they go home. Kisses Annette

Hiya sis!! I am slotching, watching the Twilight zone marathon I recorded. Tomorrow, pedicure and massage, then back to the slave quarters on Tuesday number ONE. Enjoy the quiteness, my little family is starting psych visits, not therapy but the real head doc. I am hanging in there babes, I have been enjoying your class things, I will share some eventually with your permission. Lova ya!

We could all use a good head doc at one time or another. Life gets complicated and we let too much hide inside and fester. Professional help can clean out those nasty old wounds and aide in healthy healing.  Of course you may share my babbling notes. I don't identify people so there is never a breach of confidentiality. When we discuss any "sticky" topics, I omit them from the notes. A pedicure and massage sounds like just the ticket to endure another fun filled work week.

Hi Miss Linda, Hope you are enjoying the rest of this day. It's only about 4pm here and  I will be making beef shish kabob with red, yellow and green peppers and onions. OK, to be honest, Safeway made them I will just grill them. I had fresh cherries today, yum. I never used to eat them but now I love fruits and veggies. I have missed you! Keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryl

Good Evening Linda....I am finally getting a chance to check in again today. You hadn't yet posted when I checked in earlier. I am glad you were able to sleep in this morning. You need the extra rest. You spread yourself toooooo thin sometimes.  I am glad Olivia and her children are getting help. Things will get back on track and all will be well again!! I always keep them, and of course you, in my prayers every single day!! Please give her a HUGE HUG from me!! Please work hard on getting in that protein.....it is so important and you are so important to me!! I love and respect you very, very much. B-yogurt w/ kashi and string cheese S-fresh pineapple L-Mock Crab Salad w/ cheese and Bran/wheat crackers  S-Pure Protein Bar (on the run with a friend!) D-Jack Daniels Chicken Breast, yellow and green beans S-??? Going out with friends tonight.....I am running in circles as always. I have been gone all afternoon until 7:00 PM. Now it is time to shower....get sexy (hahahahaa!!!) and go out dancing again!! Love you much  Flowers And Hearts  Boo....to you!
