60 pounds is wonderful. Try lifting a 60 pounds bag of dog food - that gives a better idea of what you have lost.
Ah yes, mini goals are so good. More like instant gratification. Give yourself rewards (non food) such as a manicure, nice bath gels, or a new pair of earrings.
I am so impressed with your progress and don't think it is at all slow.

Hooray for You! I am 3 months and 1 week and have lost 56 so know what you are going through. I find tha****er aerobics is a great way to exercise so if you can find a class somewhere, join up! No one cares what we look like (well maybe they do but whatthe heck?). We are doing something that makes us healthy and we should be happy about that! I have been losing about 3 a week - that's okay!

I would love to join a water aerobics class but there is one problem, I work and all of them are going on when I have to be at work. I have a friend that is going to show me some exercises I can do in the pool, at the gym, on my own. I have been going swimming 3X a week and I have worked up to 45min at a time now, and I find that I'm not breathless as I was when I started. I can swim alot longer too. So I am getting stronger. I think 3X a week is about right, don't you?
