Good morning to my special sister Linda. Have a wonderful 4th of July and know that you are loved here for one thing~you! Please read the thread below from Karen and you will understand.  I have a cook out this afternoon at my cousins. I remember as a child all of getting together and now most of the family is spreading in their own directions. It makes me sad but such is life I guess. Family and friends are so important to me. The hold a special large part of my life. I never want to forget where I came from~both negative and postive~because if I did I would lose part of my life with them.  Here goes the food for the day: B: 3 meatballs with sauce and cheese (now they will be gone) L: cook out~hamburgers and such D: who knows but I will make it good S: who knows If there is any of my desert left from the cook out I may eat some of that. I am making a good one today. Sugar free angel food cake with sugar free pie filling and sugar free cool whip. Yum Yum! Have a wonderful and safe day and when something happens that kind of makes you sad just remember all of your OFF family that love you so much. I am sending love and hugs to you along with the special prayers that are said for you everyday.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Brenda, I am coming over for dinner!! My daughter is not in a good place and things are being changed at work, we will have to bid for shifts, after 6 years!! Well, 60 percent will be based on performance, and I am always at the top 3rd...and 40 on senority, and I am like 15 out of 60 people..we shall see. My nerves are not good, I am trying to pray and leave it at God's door...smile. Enjoy your day, sweet lady!

Smiley Fireworks Sousa, ahhhh a simpler place and time for sure, and so much of who we are. I am proud of our baby country, we are so young! I am working on the unsuckiness too girl!! I can not control others though...darn it!! LOL. You know when our babies hurt, we hurt, from the cradle to the grave. Life is grand though, and I shall swim and laugh later, when the sun goes down some..it is about 110 right now!  Liberty

Linda, I wish I could wave a magic wand over you and make everything all better. Yesterday morning I called my surgeon's office and managed to get a 12:30 pm appointment to see him.  He said my recent eating difficulties were probably due to food stuck in my stoma (ick!), took .15cc out of my band, and told me to come back in 2 weeks.  It's kind of discouraging to have an unfill when I'm so close to my weight goal, but I couldn't go on the way I was, and once this is cleared up I can get another fill if needed.  I drank lots of water after seeing the doctor and was able to eat supper last night, so I think the problem is solved. B:  1/2 packet weight control oatmeal w/ 1/3 c.skim milk & 1/4 c. fresh cherries S:  Shelly's Mock Caramel Macchiato L:  2 oz crab & cilantro salad, 1/4 c. cranberry carrots S:  1/2 c. LF cottage cheese w/ blueberries D:  2 oz spiced salmon, 1/4 c. Mediterranean vegetables S:  1 Skinny Cow Dipper Jean

Liberty Jean, it is good to hear that you got some relief! You will probably still lose as you have trained yourself to eat less!Kudos on drinking plenty of water. I hope you have a great day, now that you feel better!  Flags
