It sounds like that house will be a SHOW-PIECE...how lovely it sounds..and what fun to be able to do that. JB is such an old stick-in-the-mud...doesnt want to change anything..sheesh! That faux satin stripe sounds gorgeous..I do hope that you will post PICTURES, please!
So far, Mother is in a retirement community...they treat the residents so kindly and good..always watching out for them....its like she is living in a five star hotel...a shame that she doesnt really appreciate it at all. She is still very lucid and gets around slowly but well enough with a walker tho she swears she really doesnt NEED it at all. She is almost 89 and has a mind of her own..she is IRISH, you know..stubborn as heck!
Zeus, my 150 pound rottie had a bath today...in the pond..what a dork he is! Then he comes and wants to sit "in my lap!'..egad!!
I do try to keep up but I confess that I do miss a few days and sometimes even just skip to the current day..my bad. I dont read as much as I used to..but hopefully, soon, I can spend more time doing that..Im working on a book now but its so long in between reading times that I forget and have to start over again!

Thank you, Connie...I guess I was typing my post at the same time that Laureen was...so we had DOUBLE Friday!
Sometimes I wish Rufus would remind me to eat now and then..and just the GOOD stuff..not the crap I sometimes get into. Still I find it amazing that I still dont get hungry...it's the HEAD HUNGER that Im struggling with..you know, stress and feeling blue. So now Im back to listening to my SUBLIMINAL CDs for Healthy Eating.
Sometimes Rufus still acts up and rejects things, much to my surprise. What worked yesterday may be rejected tomorrow. Which I can live with but I wish Rufus would be more predictable and choose more suitable times to have a tantrum.
