I can now shop in WalMart

Yesterday I bought a pair of jeans at WalMart.  Until now, they have not had anything I can fit into.  I now wear a stocked size.  40x34.  Six months ago I was wearing 52x34. I am a happy camper.

I had to shop at Casual Male.  The cheapest jeans they have at $35 a pair, if you buy 2 pair, otherwise, $40 for one pair. I paid $8 for the pair I bought yesterday.

that is heartwarming to read!!!! some folks have no concept of what you must have gone thru pre wls...keep sharing!!!!!!  with a 34 inseam you must be a tall one too!! so that in itself makes shopping  more difficult! i can see the smile on your face-you earned it!!!!

Congrats, George....isn't it great to shop locally and find a size that fits!!! I have gone from 3-4X to 18 and I just love it.....I actually like shopping now!

Cngratulations on your fantastic WOW moment, George. I think that is great. I was a lucky one in that I got to shop for clothes in WalMart even at my heaviest but the added WOW for me that I go to the misses department now and not the woman's department.  Way to go and keep up the fantastic WOW's and please keep sharing them with us. We love to hear them.

It's so nice to be able to buy off the rack. I agree with Margo, people have no idea of what we went through buying clothes pre-WLS ... for women, buying through Lane Bryant's catalog is not cheap! Or their store, for that matter, either. Good for you! Keep it up!
